It was gorgeously shot (and wow, I thought you had someone with you, so extra gold stars for doing it solo) you got lots of interesting places, the lighting was lovely throughout, just really REALLY well done. I loved both your outfits, I kept pausing to see where different pieces were from (and am now crying over the pretty things on the Dôen website) and all the jewelry and accessories were absolutely charming. Thank you for bringing us to the land of my ancestors! Your comment about the 'fake' parts of the building were so funny! Here n Southern California, USA (near Hollywood), we call it a 'revival.' Our laws allow a building to be designated as 'historical' if it is at least 50 years old. Our oldest building is a mission church was founded by Spanish conquerors in 1776. Thank for you showing us the real thing.

Oh hey a thoroughbred!---I live in the Horse Capital of the World (Lexington, KY) and we have an entire park full of bronze thoroughbred statues (Thoroughbred Park if you want to see pictures)! The main statue scene is seven horses racing towards a rosebush encircled by a hedge (the winner's circle) that is symbolic of the Kentucky Derby (also called the "Run for the Roses" because the winning horse is crowned by a garland of red roses). There are actually more horse statues than human statues in Lexington 😱
