  • This was an easy but time consuming fix, there other videos on the Xj and Wj fix but I seem the to be the first for the Zj which is a little bit different, sorry I didn’t record but I didn’t plan on making a video on it, it’s a simple fix on the grand Cherokee Zj, many people talk about it on the forums but no video or pictures on how to actually fix it, hope everyone enjoyed this video and eventually help someone who needs to see this

Hello friend, I'm from Brazil, how are you? Did you have to loosen the 2 screws on the side to remove the backrest? If you are going to test continuity with the multimeter it has to beep right? Thank you do you have any more videos of the procedure? Thx

Felipe DT after removing the seat you have to remove all plastic trim on the seat before pulling the seat cover back. Now when checking for continuity on a multimeter, set it on ohms and if there’s a break in the wire the multimeter will show “overload” (OL) a good video example I have for testing this is the hatch glass fix m.ua-cam.com/video/cHTfMVHhIpw/v-deo.html

@@jeepinjack4196 hello friend gave the seats certain, but the driver does not hear the noise of the relay that is under the seat, do you think it could be him? the passenger seat is perfect and I hear the relay

Felipe DT it should be as simple as a relay. Go under the seat (it’s easier to take the bolts out first) and you’ll see a rectangular relay plugged in. Take that relay out and replace it, they are not too expensive (up to 20$usd). And IF there is no relay there then put one in.
