1. After entering Waterfall, Sans is found manning a sentry station and asks the human child if they want to take a break with him. He takes them to Grillby's via a "shortcut." The patrons warmly greet Sans, and he proceeds to treat the human child to a burger or fries. After some dialogue, a spotlight falls on him and the human child and time appears to stop as Sans tells the human child that a flower has been talking to Papyrus. Sans believes that someone is tricking Papyrus with an Echo Flower. ( I guess, you already guess who is this?) 2. Before the battle with Undine, a human child walks through the fields of echo flowers. These flowers say some plot things: 1) people were the ones who first started the war, they attacked monsters. 2) The souls of almost all monsters combined are equal in strength to only one human soul. 3) People chose the seven best magicians and sealed the monsters under Mt. Ebott with a magic spell, so the monsters need exactly 7 human souls to destroy the barrier.
as mentioned the songs themselves don't show what the full musical does so some things are lost, like in the game you have the option of pouring water onto Udyne and she gets up, stares at you in confusion then leaves without saying anything, and then like you saw Sans is there and you can talk to him which the next song gets into.
Though its not elaborated much in the seperate tracks, the monsters need 7 human souls to shatter the barrier that holds them underground. The reason why Undyne is so passionate to kill you is that you are the 7th human
Thank you for your reaction. In the full musical, some songs are connected by a script, the script helps to catch the connection between the songs and the storyline. But the trouble is that there is no script when you watch a playlist with songs, because of this, you may not catch the essence and not understand some points of the plot. Maybe you will watch the full musical, but in order not to watch it completely, stretching the duration of the video, you can split it into parts (into 1 or 2 songs). This is just my advice, so you can watch as you like. Updated: I just watched the musical and saw that it is divided into timecodes, for the convenience of the viewer.
For now I am just doing them one at a time, but this keeps being brought up, maybe once I finish these I will do a live stream where I watch the full movie
