I have always revered you. You are the true leaders in the Hmong community. I know that you and FVP have a great relationship.
Dang Heu Thats not true. GVP is my blood Uncle and I can say Dr. Yang Dao is one of three people GVP did not want attending his funeral. It was an order by GVP moments before he passed. Dr. Yang Dao has a dark side few people know. If you don't want someone to attend your funeral that person has done you wrong.

Thai Lo Yes, it is between them but you will go as far as your leader' s vision. If you chose the wrong one, you "as in a people" won't go far. The show must go on but not with Yang Dao.
But everyone has their choice in life and beliefs and I'm certainly not against that.
When Hmong people learn to have one New Year on the same day than I will begin to believe the young generation has stepped up otherwise its just here say. Its not what we say, its what we do. I boycotted Hmong New Year and haven't gone in 5 years not because I don't like it but If I go I support the 8-10 Hmong New Years in the state I live. Like my Vietnamese friends say to me "Your people don't have one heart." We young Hmong people need to be embarrass for our people when other race see that we, a very small group of people, cannot even agree on a simple day for Hmong New Year. If we can't even do that, we are not intelligent people. We may be more educated than the Laotian people as we have more engineers, lawyers, doctors, and other professionals but they can come together and have a temple or celebrate their New Year on the same day across America.
I am glad you want to improve our situation but as long as there are clan names and associations that is not going to happen soon.
