No, that's not how you do it, to start the Dempsey roll you start it liver blow (you have to press down Dpad ,R and B button at the same time) then (Left Dpad, R and B at the same time too) then finally (Press Left and right Dpad continually and R, and B at the same time. basically all characters have their own ability to excecute them you just do the same thing
