I'll settle the MPG debate - I have owned a couple camaros, a K-5 Blazer, a Grand Cherokee and WRX. I recently picked up an M3 and an H3. I can say without a doubt that the K-5 Blazer was worst on mileage at around 12MPG real world followed shortly by the Camaros. The WRX hits a decent 25-28 MPG depending on how heavy your foot is. The M3 can manage 24-26MPG, the Grand Cherokee was hitting 22-24 when I sold it. The H3 when driven kindly manages 20MPG.
Ive rented the H3 and the H2. The H3 to sum it up is very weak flat out. I really felt that the egine was working over time all the time, and I wasn't gassing the engine hard, the acceleration was very weak. The body over all was better than the H2 with respect to handling, but I honestly saw no difference with gas being use in the H3 vs the H2. Because the engine was weak when compared to the body, I saw that the car was consuming more gas in certain instances! Love the body, hate the perfoman
@MuskratandRatman My dad owns 2 M. Benz, a S550 and a CL500. Both of these cars have a lower MPG than my hummer H3. I should know, I get to drive them whenever I want. My mom has a BMW 745i and hers is actually the best about fuel consumption in that it has electronics that show you how to conserve the fuel. But, ya, all super cars and Mercedes spend more gas than hummer h3. The H2 is about the same as a lux Benz.
@IamFreeRu Well there is your problem. you have owned the least fuel economic mercedes' out there. My mercedes. the C300, gets about 35 miles per gallon
Absolutely love my 2006 H3. Gas mileage only dips below 15 when I go crazy through the forests and swamps.
