ALSO, stating that he gave no proof for his claims of a foreign intervention are farcical - the communique (which formed the basis of this claim ) was validated by the National Security council of Pakistan. After which the foreign Minister at that time, Shah Mehmood Qureshi was asked to issue a demarche to the United states. As for the proof of foreign conspiracy - the opposition parties (elected & NON ELECTED party members) and the defected party member of PTI, all had meetings ,secretly and publicly, with the US diplomats since August 2021 - a few months before the Vote of confidence against Khan. These are taped and documented facts, not claims.After that, it was very odd, when an extremely divided opposition, all of a sudden joined hands and within a matter of months presented a vote of no confidence; which it had been unsuccessful in achieving multiple times in the past 3 yrs. When or if an investigation is ordered to probe this, there will be even more undeniable evidence of this. As a Pakistani I stand with Imran Khan. He has performed better than any previous govt. You can see in IMF's recent 2022 report that under Imran Khan Pakistan's GDP growth was 5.6% and record low Account deficit in last 11 years. This year Pakistan's GDP was set to be 6%. Unfortunately, maybe Imran's bad luck, First he had to deal with Covid and then Russia started the war, still Imran Khan's performance was better than any leader in history of Pakistan.

Pakistan gdp growth rate for 2022 was not 5.6 percent. Its 4 percent. It was 5.9 percent when pmln govt ended in 2018. It dropped down to 2 percent after ik took over and was in the negative during covid and around 4 percent in 2021.

The only part where PTI and IK failed in its 3 year rule was elimination of corruption which unfortunately for him lied in the hands of Judiciary and state institutions. He did not have the mandate and probably the knowledge of how to deal with the status quo of Judiciary and State Institutions both of which were populated by the two political dynasties.

West in general and US in particular was not happy about Khan's free foreign policy, so this is not the first time America has done that, this has already been done before with ZA Bhutto founder of Pakistan People's Party. Pakistan will grow if we get rid of these two corrupt political dynasties and lesser military interventions. Coming months will be important for people of Pakistan as they go into general elections. Given the popularity Khan is enjoying it is more likely that he will be restored to power after general elections, this time with more majority in parliament.

Here are some facts and somethings which were wrong in this report. Pakistan's economy did not nose dive under Khan. He had to deal with an artificially controlled dollar which was set by a finance minister of the PML(N) party and the bubble burst as soon as he came in power. Even IMF yesterday praised Khan's efforts on the economic policy and bloomberg said Pakistan had one of the best economic stats in covid. Our GDP was +5 in his last days of office. Khan was not anti-Indian or anti-west. He just said he doesn't want his people to be slaves of the west and he would love to maintain friendly ties with the west on equal levels. He said he won't talk to India till they take back the constitutional changes they applied in Kashmir. Khan's foreign policy was not his own. It was what the military wanted as well and that has been claimed by the military too. No proof of the foreign conspiracy? The guy literally has a telegram from David Lou threatening him to oust him from power. Everything happened exactly they way they wanted it to happen. Even the NSC has said there was involvement but they committed the word "conspiracy". Aljazira has a great reputation and you guys need to do more research before presenting a report.

@Abdullah Azeem the artificially controlled dollar is a reality. It has been endorsed by economists. Even Ishaq dar claimed it to be true. Now let me tell you about the debt. To artificially keep the dollar stable they took loans on explosive interest rates. When the money stopped comming in the bubble burst. This jumped the current account deficit because now we owed the loan givers more. The dollar reserves started to deplete exponentially! To counter that PTI had to take loans just to keep the country from going bankrupt like Sri Lanka. They succeeded to keep it afloat, hence the loans you're talking about. We actually take loans to pay back loans. Now about the GDP. Why do you keep forgetting COVID??? We went to almost 0 to 1% GDP growth in 2020 during severe lockdowns which is a miracle and the very next year we ended at 5+ GDP with covid. Doesn't that mean the country was at the right track? The corruption charges against Nawaz Sharif were politically motivated. The judge who sentenced him has admitted in a video that he was forced by the military to pass that judgement against Nawaz Sharif. As for Shahbaz Sharif, he was cleared of money laundering by the NCA in London. There are serious corruption charges that have surfaced against Imran Khan after he was ousted from the power.

What struck me as most refreshing about this whole story was the age of the three Pakistani experts who were interviewed. It is wonderful to see young, educated and unafraid people voice their opinions on a subject of such massive import. This is something we across the border are beginning to see lesser and lesser of in our own country.

Khan's policy was not anti-west. He visited western countries like US and invited other western leaders to his country. But, the more crucial point is - whatever foreign policy was premiered was also agreed upon by the military, this is how Pakistan works. Khan couldn't have implemented an independent foreign policy. What worried west and military was Imran khan's speak to the public. He used convey his messages through political rallys and to the public. Which really savored the relationships.

A few corrections are needed here. Imran Khan's foreign policy is not anti-America, it is pro-Pakistan. It is a neutral foreign policy in which Pakistan aspires to be a ground where East meets West. Economy had to take a dip due COVID and as serious reforms were taking place, unemployment increased as most of the State Institutions, for instance PIA, were over staffed due to cryonism; they were removed. The lifestyle of people was improving; there was no loadshedding of electricity, education reforms were carried out, a new citizen centric economy oriented National Security Policy was rolled out. Industry had begun progressing which halted in previous eras due to energy crisis. People who previously owned bicycle now owned motorbikes and bike owners shifted to cars. Afghan crisis was handled well, peace & stability was returning as evident by lowest number of terror attacks and bombings in Imran's term. Overall Pakistan was progressing. In the end, every factor considered, the leading contributor to Imran's removal was the fight against corruption, which most institutions of Pakistan are involved in.

Interesting how she has completely skipped the impact of COVID & increase in inflation globally when talking about unemployment and inflation in Pakistan during Khan's regime. The economy was in fact improving since a couple of month before Imran Khan's ouster.
ALSO, stating that he gave no proof for his claims of a foreign intervention are farcical - the communique (which formed the basis of this claim ) was validated by the National Security council of Pakistan. After which the foreign Minister at that time, Shah Mehmood Qureshi was asked to issue a demarche to the United states.
As for the proof of foreign conspiracy - the opposition parties (elected & NON ELECTED party members) and the defected party member of PTI, all had meetings ,secretly and publicly, with the US diplomats since August 2021 - a few months before the Vote of confidence against Khan. These are taped and documented facts, not claims.After that, it was very odd, when an extremely divided opposition, all of a sudden joined hands and within a matter of months presented a vote of no confidence; which it had been unsuccessful in achieving multiple times in the past 3 yrs. When or if an investigation is ordered to probe this, there will be even more undeniable evidence of this.

As a Pakistani I stand with Imran Khan. He has performed better than any previous govt. You can see in IMF's recent 2022 report that under Imran Khan Pakistan's GDP growth was 5.6% and record low Account deficit in last 11 years. This year Pakistan's GDP was set to be 6%.
Unfortunately, maybe Imran's bad luck, First he had to deal with Covid and then Russia started the war, still Imran Khan's performance was better than any leader in history of Pakistan.

The only part where PTI and IK failed in its 3 year rule was elimination of corruption which unfortunately for him lied in the hands of Judiciary and state institutions. Aljazera missed few things, hence this video has many lapses. Economic indicators were getting better. Economy was getting better organic unlike previous regime which was pumped by loans from IMF so economy was not a problem.
Secondly there is enough evidence of American conspiracy in ousting Khan. National Security Council has accepted this fact that there were definite traces of foreign hand to overthrow Khan's govt.
West in general and US in particular was not happy about Khan's free foreign policy, so this is not the first time America has done that, this has already been done before with ZA Bhutto founder of Pakistan People's Party.
Pakistan will grow if we get rid of these two corrupt political dynasties and lesser military interventions. Coming months will be important for people of Pakistan as they go into general elections.

Shehbaz Sharif is an effective administrator, he crushed criminals in Punjab, did a lot around provience, build power plants, hospitals , roads. All of them are corrupt be it Khan, Sharifs or the worst of em Bhuttos. Nawaz was never the guy for the job, he is just so bad at administration, the popularity of PMLN in Punjab is because of Shehbaz Sharif, that's a fact. He is a good administrator , you can even ask Chinese who regard him as a good administrator. What Pakistan needs is political parties not wanting Military support ( all parties want Military support as of now) and new generation politicans not from these old Political families
Here are some facts and somethings which were wrong in this report. Pakistan's economy did not nose dive under Khan. He had to deal with an artificially controlled dollar which was set by a finance minister of the PML(N) party and the bubble burst as soon as he came in power. Even IMF yesterday praised Khan's efforts on the economic policy and bloomberg said Pakistan had one of the best economic stats in covid. Our GDP was +5 in his last days of office. Khan was not anti-Indian or anti-west. He just said he doesn't want his people to be slaves of the west and he would love to maintain friendly ties with the west on equal levels. He said he won't talk to India till they take back the constitutional changes they applied in Kashmir. Khan's foreign policy was not his own. It was what the military wanted as well and that has been claimed by the military too. No proof of the foreign conspiracy? The guy literally has a telegram from David Lou threatening him to oust him from power. Everything happened exactly they way they wanted it to happen. Even the NSC has said there was involvement but they committed the word "conspiracy". Aljazira has a great reputation and you guys need to do more research before presenting a report.

To artificially keep the dollar stable they took loans on explosive interest rates. When the money stopped comming in the bubble burst. This jumped the current account deficit because now we owed the loan givers more. The dollar reserves started to deplete exponentially! To counter that PTI had to take loans just to keep the country from going bankrupt like Sri Lanka. They succeeded to keep it afloat, hence the loans you're talking about. We actually take loans to pay back loans. Now about the GDP. Why do you keep forgetting COVID??? We went to almost 0 to 1% GDP growth in 2020 during severe lockdowns which is a miracle and the very next year we ended at 5+ GDP with covid. Doesn't that mean the country was at the right track? Corruption is another story. It has a backing based on 1 report and it may or may not be true. I don't have to listen to a PTI politician man. I just have to use logic to know how things work and how they were totally in our favor.

The corruption charges against Nawaz Sharif were politically motivated. The judge who sentenced him has admitted in a video that he was forced by the military to pass that judgement against Nawaz Sharif. As for Shahbaz Sharif, he was cleared of money laundering by the NCA in London. There are serious corruption charges that have surfaced against Imran Khan after he was ousted from the power.

This story definitely needs to fact check as PM IK wasn’t against west but wanted to have open foreign policy for the country, he was not against India in fact he protested what Indian gov did in Kashmir (revoking 370 rights), it has been recognised twice by NSC that there was interference by US in Pakistan for regime change and Pakistan foreign office protest to US for interference and undiplomatic language.

Khan's policy was not anti-west. He visited western countries like US and invited other western leaders to his country. But, the more crucial point is - whatever foreign policy was premiered was also agreed upon by the military, this is how Pakistan works. Khan couldn't have implemented an independent foreign policy.
What worried west and military was Imran khan's speak to the public. He used convey his messages through political rallys and to the public. Which really savored the relationships.

A few corrections are needed here.
Imran Khan's foreign policy is not anti-America, it is pro-Pakistan. It is a neutral foreign policy in which Pakistan aspires to be a ground where East meets West.
Economy had to take a dip due COVID and as serious reforms were taking place, unemployment increased as most of the State Institutions, for instance PIA, were over staffed due to cryonism; they were removed.
The lifestyle of people was improving; there was no loadshedding of electricity, education reforms were carried out, a new citizen centric economy oriented National Security Policy was rolled out. Industry had begun progressing which halted in previous eras due to energy crisis. People who previously owned bicycle now owned motorbikes and bike owners shifted to cars.
Afghan crisis was handled well, peace & stability was returning as evident by lowest number of terror attacks and bombings in Imran's term.
Overall Pakistan was progressing.
In the end, every factor considered, the leading contributor to Imran's removal was the fight against corruption, which most institutions of Pakistan are involved in.
