Nice presentation. Need to get the coatings sorted out on the fly lines guys. Had a few Thistledowns, that felt very stiff and wiry. Need to get that super supple, smooth silky finish off the earlier ones back again.
Picked up the Snowbee prestige fly rod - the Snowbee prestige gold used to be recommended for this rod….. would you recommend the standard snowbee xs lines or the new spectre lines for this rod?
How come all lines on all brands adverts look fantastic? They cast a mile land straight as a die and have no memory at all. However most of the time the lines on sale are not like that. Memory and straightness being the major fault. Is it poor QC or are they using different lines in adverts. Can we not just buy the one in the add lol not a dig at Snowbee at all just stating a fact.
Both Snowbee and Sunray lead the way with flyline design and ignoring the old atm as outdated. Thats why lots of people have to overline a rod. So using a thistleline on a #5 is 2 weights heavier to some people??
@@ibelieve1468 I have been out twice since my comment and give the line a couple of pulls each time and it seems to have settled down 👍I went on the site to buy an intermediate but non available which is a shame.
@@ronniebiggs4026 I pre ordered the new proline hoover basically a v slow intermediate I think. Should be delivered in June sometime? I haven't tried their clear int or any of thier sinkers.

Buy a high quality line and no memory ever!

Just got a newSunray 6wt competition floating line which cast well but the memory is appalling
