I always remember my mum with a Georges Simeon book either in her hand or laying next to her bed and i never got tempted to give one a go as listenin to this and others by GS are so good i wish I'd have been more interested in giving them a go as they're so well written!!
Very enjoyable, thank you. Of course there have been several BBC radio versions of these stories but I particularly liked these particular productions. I wonder if you are able to point me towards more of the same please?
HEPBURN PLAYING MARGRET - WHAT A VOICE AND WHAT A FIRST RATE ACTOR IN ALL THE THINGS HE HAS DONE - COLDIZ - SMILEY THE LIST GO`S ON WOULD JUST LOVE TO SHAKE HIS HAND
One of my very favourite crime detectives .. no matter who plays him the stories are great ...George simeon was an excellent author
Georges Simenon (is the author’s name). Good old radio adaptation, I enjoy following Margret’s imaginative conjecture and impeccable logic.
Excellent story --- a mystery, but also a drama with heart.
You have a very interesting family name!
Perfect for listening. I like the books but these seem to be radio specials nice for an hour or so gardening! The length is perfect.

I'm glad to find a new Maigret
Bernard Hepton

Apparently Bernard Hepton played Maigret some of the time, Barry Foster at others.
