aang tried metalbending in comics. Toph herself stated she didnt do it. Ntm this person is right, its stated that korra is the first metal bending avatar. Obviously aang cant do it@@timothyherrmann
It’s my understanding that a significant component of the Avatar state was tapping into the experience of past lives. For this reason, I’d think it’s possible that Aang’s post series, fully realized Avatar State would be more powerful than Korra’s post series state, given that she lost all of that background and has only her own boosted power to go on.
False. Its basically a glorified i see dead people. Aang is shown multiple times that he had to physically contact them for advice, they offer knowledge, thats it, they do not offer power boosts. It is then explained in great detail in korra that the true source of power for the avatar is Raava, and korra is the first avatar ever to have a full unlocked 100% prime raava, every avatar before literally had 50% of the avatars full potential. Oh and she can still tap into the past lives by talking to them in the spirit world.
Wrong the power of the avatar state comes from Raava. It's even been stated by the creators that Korra didn't lose any power in the avatar state when Raava was revived. If anything it's stronger since Raava is now in her prime.
@@mato2677 this is not fully accurate. Yes the Avatars state power is not reliant on the past lives directly. But their experience does come into play in battle as well, not just when an Avatar directly communes with them. We see Aang get possessed momentarily by past Avatars multiple times in the series in battle and perform feats he would not have the knowledge or experience to otherwise. So the past lives do play a factor somewhat in battle directly.
@@mato2677 saying the creators said doesn’t really prove shit when they themselves half the time don’t even know how powerful they made there characters like ask akira toriyama how powerful goku is he would probably say planet level so creators say doesn’t mean much

Yeah, I think I'll have to agree. Avatar the Last Airbender might be the superior show but because Aang was trained and has philosophies of a monk, that holds him back a lot. Kora is also naturally more aggressive, so I think that could add to her winning? Idk, good video tho! I wish Kora was re-written ngl
I heard that "The Legend of Korra" was a bit of a rush job because Nickelodeon originally only planned on one season, then changed their mind near the end of the first season.
In a fight, being quick-witted can be as important as being powerful. Having a cool mind helps your brain see more clearly opportunities to win. Anger can give you strength, but it also can make you lose focus, even make you sloppy.
Ty Lee wasn’t a bender and she took down all those earthbenders in The Drill episode, Katara in season 2 finaleand even Azula in The Boiling Rock episode.
I agree! I think you did a very good, and fair-minded analysis on them, during various stages of their lives which I think is SUCH an important factor to take into account. I love Aang but I also think that, once he and Korra and fully realized avatars, and Korra is fully through her trauma and has had time to get back to full strength again? He gets clapped. There's not much that can take down a woman who survived poisonous metal surging through her veins, I'm sorry, buddy. But he'd put up quite a fight!
@@whatts5507 no it isnt thats not how it works. They literally explained that the past lives are just knowledge but its like a glorified google search.. aang had to actually talk to them for them to be of any use. It is explained in great detail that the true source of power for the avatar comes from Raava, and every avatar before korra had a weak raava. Korra now has 100% unlocked avatar state, plus access to the tree of time. Remember when aang did the blue giant thing? That was him bridging the worlds so the moon and ocean spirits could channel their power into the physical world to help aang push back the fire nation ships. Remember when korra did it? She used the tree of time to channel HER OWN spirit energy into the physical world to fight a monster that literally engulfed the entire world in dark energy.. One of the issues that people have with this discussion is that when characters have the same powerset it’s not about what they “CAN” do. It’s about what they “WOULD” do. Aang is not a fighter by nature. He’s a pacifist, the only time he was willing to fight someone was behind when Appa got kidnapped. Korra would go down, yes, but she goes down fighting, and she’s a bending prodigy. On a base level, Aang mastered one element, Korra mastered three and has been borderline untouchable since she was a child, She takes aang out.
Isn't aang considered a bending prodigy in the series? Also, I'm pretty sure she wasn't untouchable because I remember her losing a lot to her villains, but maybe my memory is a little foggy. I'm not saying that aang never lost against his enemies, but I don't think it happened as much as Korra.
i want to put one thing i was hoping to see in consideration, aangs avatar state vs korras avatar state, pretty much all the times korra uses the avatar state she looses or gets punished by it, every time aagns uses the avatar state, he becomes the danger in expetion of just one time

I feel the same. It just seems that for a so called bending prodigy she always seemed scared or lost for the most part. Ang just seems more powerful to me.

False. Tenzin said to korra "you have accomplished more in a few years than any other avatar in their lifetimes" Literally saved the world twice, vaatu would have plunged the world into 10000 years of darkness.. literally the anti avatar and she beat it without the avatar state.

Like do i actually have to run you through the plot? Korra did a lot more than aang did, thats just the way the show went
I would say I think Korra would win if we compare either Aang and Korra at both their respective season 1 and final season stats. If we age them up to where they would be at their best, Korra has metal bending and Aang didn't metal bend that we know of. If we did a fight focusing on individual elements that Aang would win Air fight but get stomped in the Water, Fire and Earth battles.
Katara only said that he needed to work on water in one episode then called him a master which was in books 2 also even though Toph said he need to work on his earth bending she also said that her kids never really got a handle on mentle bending which one daughter made a whole city out of it and the other is a police chief who uses metal armor
Aang lost against almost everybody, he’s too much of a pacifist when fighting. Like going against Azula in Crossroads of Destiny and Ozai in the finale. Korra is as aggressive as them, so she’d win. Korra’s fighting style would be too overbearing for him, only way he’d win is by doing surprise moves Korra wouldn’t expect
For a majority of the series he didn’t even have all 4 elements nor could freely go into the Avatar state, while being a pacifist. And he still beat almost all his enemies. Speaking of losing fights Korra lost to every major and most minor villans in her series until help arrived. Besides her last fight with Kuvira. When it came to those fights she had either 3/4 or all 4 elements and could go into the avatar state at will. While being far more aggressive than Aang and still lost to them. Mostly every fight someone was being aggressive to Aang they lost. Ozai while amped by Sozins comet lost to a holding back Aang while Ozai was heavily aggressive. When it comes down to it Aang is a better a better air, earth, and debatably water bender. Along with his avatar state being stronger and better. With his tactics, skill, and evasiveness Korras just not gonna beat him. Plus he can take her bending.
Korra in season 1 is headed and rash I think aang could win using that like did with Zhao and Korra lost her connection with the other avatars so that would weaken her I think
@Blitz Vibesz this is false and they explain it multiple times across both shows. This misconception should not still exist. The avatar state does not get its power from the past lives.. they are literally a poor mans google search, they offer nothing but knowledge. It is explained in great detail that the power of the avatar comes from Raava. Losing the connection literally has zero consequence because at the same time she opened the spirt world meaning contact with the spirits is now easier and everyone can do it. Since the true power of the avatar actially comes from Raava, and korra has the first ever 100% prime Raava, korra is by canon the most powerful avatar there has ever been. The writers also confirm this.
If you say "i think" at the end of something you present as fact that means you dont actually know. They explain it in the show in great detail mate, check my other comment.
Howw... literally howw korra a 17 year old who mastered 3 element is not losing to a 12 year old with only air . And korra being a hot head doesn't mean anything because she makes it up with her combat skills im sure she can beat zhao so she's not in the same level as zhao . Season 1 korra will slap aang around like nothing aslong as he is not running away 😂
Aang has a vastly superior avatar state, and has better feats in air and water and earth ( read the comments) at the age of 12-13 while korra is 17-21 throughout the show
Aangs Positives Are: Korras Avatar State is weaker, Korra is hot headed, and Stubborn. And Aangs Avatar state is stronger! And Airbending Aangs cons are that That he is just is not as powerful, And is not as good in other elements, Korra has metal bending and can turn into a big spirit monster. I don't think that Korra's Avatar State could outclass Aang's. The way we see Aang's State is that its God Mode, the only person who ever got a SINGLE hit on him was Azula when she shot him in the back when he had JUST unlocked low level mastery of it, and even Amped Ozai was stomped on like he was nothing against Aang when he glowed it up. Korra meanwhile when using the Avatar State seems to be on paar with Kovera, who while a powerful Earthbender is not on parr with Toph and sure as heck isn't as powerful as Comet Ozai. But, like you said, that's just my opinion.
korra loss most of her avatar state power at the end of season two when her connection with her past lives was cut losing all the experience that she could tap into when she was in her avatar state
But she has access to prime raava, while aang's raava was at her weakest state Korra can't access the windsom of past avatars, but can access directly to Prime raava
This is the biggest misconception about the past lives... they offer squat except advice... Its literally i see dead people.. Plus kora opened the spirt world so now that same contact can still be done, easier than aangs method because now they exist in the same plane. This is explained in great detail why does this misconception still exist? The true power of the avatar comes from Raava, not the past lives, and korra is the first avatar to have 100% unlocked prime raava. Aang literally had 50%
Yea but the past lives are just a wanna be google search the only time you’ve ever seen someone talk to an avatar about their ability’s is when meditating and or using a relic and you can’t do that in a fight
Poor Aang would get clapped by Korra... But that's putting forth the notion that Korra would even want to throw down with him. I get the impression that these two would rather have a friendly tussle or Aang would be showing Korra how to play air ball.
Suyin says Korra is the first metal bending avatar, so I don't think Aang can metal bend. I'm not sure why tho, I'm sure he would've asked Toph to teach him. Maybe he's a lava bender.
(This is in no way made to bash Korra and bring up Aang, this is merely my observation and may be offensive to some but I don't care so here we go.) It's the circumstances that they both were in that molded the kind of person they are; and genetics and culture. But I would like to point out is the areas that they both are good in and not good in. Korra: fierce, rebellious, she ain't all that strategic. Good amount of strength and massive amounts of emotion. Aang: Pacifist.( How dangerous would he have been if he really finished the job, but his beliefs also helps him think clearly in battle.) So clearly very strategic, really fast, also s good amount of strength. But let's talk about their level of bending. Korra already had a headstart with three elements when she was younger, she wanted this job.( In my opinion probably why she was so arrogant). This allowed her to be at a high level when she was 17. Now because of circumstance Aang mastered the four main elements in a few months while it took Korra years to get one, which one? Air, that's right! And she still isn't in the top 10 best airbenders and that could be because she doesn't compliment that specific element and vice versa. (Just my observation.) Now let's put them in the same orbit or at the same age. A 17 year old male vs a 17 year old female. By then the average female stops growing in certain aspects because they go through puberty way faster than males. Now let's look at this from a biological stand point. Because of Aang's main element, Korra is nowhere near Aang's level in agility, speedalso goes to Aang, strength depends on how creative Korra gets with the elements, and we all know Aang mastered the art of creativity. Abilities is undecided because it all comes down to how well you perform against your opponent. Aang counterattacks while Korra just fully attacks so offence goes to Korra. Defence goes to Aang.(if you beg to differ, get some help cuz u delulu.)Strategy goes to and because of his beliefs. Korra is an emotional thinker and in most situations you kinda have to dissect the problem statistically and logically. It's only after you find a solution, then you can study the situation from a emotional stand point. One should not dive into a problem fully off emotions, it's bad for you and the people around you. It causes collateral damage. This battle goes to Aang.( I understand there are ways in which Korra overpowers Aang, but in the most important ways Aang is superio.)
@@josiahmarshall1529 People don't realise that season 1 Aang vs season 1 Korra is wayyyyy closer than they think....... Which Aang can enter at will if anything makes this fight go into the avatar state then it's game over Aang demolishes Korra .......... In bending experience is everything and with the thousands of years of experience Aang has he is definitely demolishing .
I always wondered why the avatars couldnt connect with eachothers past lives and learn bending that way instead of wasting their lives traveling aang couldve connected with kyoshi to learn earth bending through her past memories. But we all know that now thats impossible and their ultimately 2 types of avatars
Its a common misconception that the avatars gain power or wisdom just by being in the avatar state, they never actually said that, its pretty much a poor mans google search through dead people but in rare circumstances they can summon that persons spirit, but this can only be done on spiritial grounds usually associated with a major feat of that avatar they wana summon. This got even more redundant in korra when they did the wan back story and showed the power of the avatar state actually comes from Raava and has nothing to do with the past lives, plus now the past lives can just be accessed via the spirit world which is now part of the physical world.
When Aang was in his avater state in the last season he was able to condensed an etered lake in to a small stream and condensed and boulder in to tiny rocks. I say his was stronger.
I bet if Aang was raised and trained like Korra having bending masters for each element at such a young age then he would easily surpass Korra. Let’s not forget that Aang had only a couple months to master 3 whole elements during a war that would determine the fate of the entire world. He was a boy out of time having been in the ice for 100 years and he was like 11 at the time. That’s insane stakes and pressure for a 11 year old who couldn’t afford to make mistakes. I doubt Korra would be able to handle the pressure
If Ang was raised the way Korra was, he wouldent be that peacefull playfull diplomat everyone loves him as, hes personality would be more like korras than his own, i Think he would end op equal to Korra then.

Ozai is a weak asf opponent im not sure why everyone thinks he was a fire bending god.. zuko had multiple opportunities to kill him, ozai wasnt even a real threat outside of the comet, but then Aang was also empowered by the comet so its existence didnt even mean anything because they both still ended up on even terms..
No Avatar State? Korra High Diff Avatar State? Aang High Diff Korea’s potential is absolutely nuts. Her power is top tier and her technique is more combat focused.
Idk about this. I just can’t see Korra getting through young Aang’s evasion at any point. Maybe when he’s older and less agile for sure, but at that point she has to worry about getting her bending removed (cuz if that’s a spiritual thing, he’s gonna win that glowy battle). But back to evasion, Aang just seems untouchable by brute strength, and that’s when he’s NOT trying. Maybe it’s bias, maybe it’s just how often she loses her fights, but I’ll always think Aang wins due to the way they both choose to fight. It’s like rock and paper. Obviously a rock could crush paper, but that’s not how the game works.
False. Korra has substantionally more powerful energy bending. She literally connected the worlds, and defeated primve vaatu, literally the strongest being in the spirit world.. Her energy bending is far beyond aangs, and even more so when she has 100% prime raava, the strongest incarnation of the avatar state theres ever been in avatar history. Aang loses plenty of fights due to bad evasion.. so his evasion obviously isnt perfect because dont forget, he actually died.. azula smoked him.. He gets hit so many times in the series. Literally doesnt even win any major fights with his own skills.. beat ozai by pure luck
Smarty pants what’s your opinion on korra losing her past lives. Since, she lost her lives the avatar state is more of a boost instead of connecting with every single element master
Yea but if both fully realised then the extra knowledge doesn’t matter it’s not like avatar state is exponentially increasing it’s just knowledge and that’s debatable so really is just a power boost
If it were to come to like Katara or something. I think he'll go all out no peace making. Aang knows when he says to put his personal beliefs aside because he's the avatar. So it could be a tie
When it comes to fire bending aang seems to be a natural at it it was just blocked because he hurt Katara. Korra's bending is stronger than Aang's other than airbending, she's far more durable and stronger, and her avatar state is not weaker. Losing her past lives connection didn't weaker her, she has Raava in prime so technically she's more powerful and has far stronger feats than aang does. Even if you equalize their age, Aang still doesn't stand a better chance, Korra just has a far better lead on him. It also makes sense for her to be stronger, she's learning different bending arts as time changes.

She's been training in 3 of the 4 elements since she was 4 and mastered air in a matter of months by the end of book 2. Korra is a stronger avatar and wins, even the creators have stated that if korra gets her hands on aang it's over for him. Cope.
@@Auron1Roxas2 ok a couple of things. 1. Kora’s connection w/ Rava may be stronger (even though I’m not 100% that’s in the show but I’ll take your word). But we don’t know how that even fully translate into an actual battle comparatively versus another Avatar. But she may have that. 2. Korra’s connection to her past Avatars has been severed by the end of her series. Even though every Avatar has access to the same raw power for the most part in the Avatar state, and their Individual skills bending do matter. The expirence of their past lives plays a huge factor as well. We see Aang multiple times perform individual feats, not only being taken over by his past lives momentarily, but also through the expirence and knowledge he has access to through them in battle. Which does matter. Also we see Ang win more fights in his Avatar state vs. when Korra uses it. Not saying their enemies were equivalent. But when we see Aang enter the state he typically has victory more times than Korra. 3. Yes Korra was trained as a warrior and Ang was a monk. And we do see her have access and master her elements at a younger age, but Korra also had access to training and far more time that Aang did starting out. She had 17 yrs at the start of her series. Ang had 12 for air and then a summer for the others ( which he does not master the other events by the end of his series. To say all of this though if we age of Aang to Korras age either at the begging of her series (17) or the end (21) we can be confident that he would have mastered the other elements by that point. So age does play a factor. Also by that point in her life at the end of her series Korra was wrecked by a ton of trauma and still not at full strength due to that and her injuries. Aang (unless he also faced something similar at that time in his life) would have a an advantage in that regard. (Not that that’s fair to Korra , but it was where she was at at that time) So the age and point in their lives at which they fight does matter. And the only time I think Aang might actually win is during that 17 to 21 time period possibly, with Korra towards the end of her series and Aang at a similar age. 4. But both Aang and Korra in their prime (as fully relized Adult Avatars) Korra wins 9 times out of 10. Her raw bending skill and background as a warrior gives her an edge. She also has access to things like Metal bending, ( she is stated as the first Avatar to do so , so that means Aang never does) and more proficient Energy bending. While all Aang really has in a better mastery of Air and his seismic sense he learned through Toph. So yes Korra comes out on top outside a few very specific scenarios.
You forget that in the avatar state aang has the advantage because he has the wisdom knowledge and battle experience of past avatars while Korra doesn't

Lol 😂😂 The question is can Korra fight fire lord ozzi And who mess up the past avatars connection And open a portal to the spirit world causing chaos And how she useless the avatar state pretty much everytime she uses it
Yeah ozai is pretty meh for korra villains between Blood Bending to OP plz nerf Amon Dark Avatar Unalock and the evil white lotus and Spirit Mecha kuvira
My take in this fight has always been that EoS Korra vs EoS Aang would come down to Korra always taking most of the fights. I do believe that if the setting is that both are sparring and genuinely trying their hardest, 6/10 times Korra wins. Aang has never really struggled with aggressive fighters and it's usually the most technically sound and devious ones that get the best out of him, but I can give Korra this as she in my opinion beats the most Technically sound fighter in her time which is Kuvira. But this only really applies in base. Once the Avatar State comes in I believe that Aang would swamp Korra no question about it. EoS Avatar State Aang dogged on a comet enhanced, his Avatar State is also relatively power as he currently holds the most strength out of any avatar in any era. With this line of thinking you would be led to believe that since Korra is the current iteration, she would have a stronger Avatar State but ever since losing her past lives I don't think this is no longer the case. Plus, during season 2, when she still had her lives, she couldn't even beat a Vaatu infused Unalaq who should oh really be as powerful as Wan yet despite that Korra still got shat on.
You really hit the nail on the head! This is exactly the observation I was looking for. And I agree Korra is not nearly as strategic of a fighter than Aang is. 8 times of of 10 she doesn't think clearly when she fights. But we still have to see their max potential on screen to then further analyse this battle but calm always beats aggressive, strategy over aggressive, and brain over brawns. I personally and in some factual ways think Aang still shits on her, and I hate to bring this up but non benders and chi blockers were whopping Korra's @ss, while Aang was doing the opposite. Bit hey that's just my opinion 😂
@@josiahmarshall1529chi blockers only beat Korra once during their first figh during the next fight she beat them all and proceeded to embarrass their leader lieutenant in combat so I don't see how this is an issue
Actually unavattu is more powerful than an Avatar because of his size when he bonded with unalaq compared to tiny ravaa in a teapot which is why he was able to push the scales in his favor while at a disadvantage of only one element.
aangs winning s1 because korra fighting technique is just reckless you can see it, she goes in for straight punches kicks flips etc, and we've seen this does nothing to aang and aang avoids getting hit very easily he can dodge very easily due to his airbending, when korras bending like i said she goes in reckless straight fists without thinking, aang will end up just getting her to destroy herself like he did with zhao.
If Aang doesn't fight with his pacifistic nature, then he will definitely win. Edit: Also the only reason Korra lost to Kuvira becuz her body still had the poison that was bended into her.
You want find one video with the creators saying Korra was a better bender than Ang. Not one. Korra loses every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Had it not been for Ang LOK would have been a very short series, as the Avatar LOST her bending. Ang has to come and save the day. Nice try though.
the thing is calling her a master at all three is weird for me and plus Korra limits the way she uses each element since there time period is different
I like Airbender a little more than Legend Of Korra. But cmon Aangs is gonna lose.
@@marocat4749 True, But, Aang is more powerful, And he will do anything in his power to not kill anyone. As I think Korra any chance she gets would "OFF" Aang, If ya know what I mean.
Aang was 13 and already an avatar. Give my boy 5 more years of experience and learning… he’d clap 👏 Korra. With bloodlust aang would be dangerous. Korra was just an emotional mess the whole series. Definitely not my favorite type of character.
I feel like this discussion on whos more powerful is so nuanced and is kind of pointless. I say that inly becuase we only seen one summer of what aang can do vs years of experiences korra had. We never got insight on how aang progressed his bending as he matured. Aang also didnt get the luxury to learn the other elements properly like the other benders. Aand basically was told hey learn a bit of this, and that of each element and fight thr fire lord, and thats all we got. Korra had the luxury to learn all elements without any wars or training being disrupted, except air slightly. And while you mention that aang didnt have this warrior like fighting ability, he definitely had better tactical abilities as well as agility well beyond korra and shes much older than aang. Aang frequently evaded even the best benders, and out smart them while korra went head on into any battle, with no plan. All in all both are great avatars but to compare aang to korra is almost impossible to fully crown one over the other.
How is it impossible you clearly just explained how aang is at the disadvantage in this fight he would loose and loose badly I don't know why people try to explain and justify it's just like arguing Batman vs robin there's really no need to bring up the age factor life isn't fair just give the clear winner
I prefer Avatar of Legend of Korra. The characters I’m avatar were more likable. It I will say Legend of Korrra’s characters are better than Voltron legendary defender.
i am not gonna hold you i find it very hard to believe Korra is a master of firebending outside her 1st training scene in her premiere because her firebending is so basic most of the time.
We’ll considering the white lotus basically had her master 1 element then move on to the next element unlike who just moved on when he could get a master and bounced back he was learning from toph & katara at the same time so she is a master of first 3 elements but not air unlike aang who is the opposite
Aang mastered water Katara never said anything about his water bending needing work you remembered that wrong, also I would argue he mastered earth because if his use of high level skills and skills that not even masters could do like seismic sense, toph said he needed work she didn't say he's not a master and toph is the beat earth bender ever she takes out arena's of masters like she's taking out the trash so her saying his earth needs work means to her standards it needs work and she is the best it doesn't mean he's not a master
This is how I see it and have learned to accept. Korra is the better warrior overall. But in the purpose of what the avatar is suppost to be, they are not warriors, they are arguably peace makers to bring balance. In my mind, she is a terrible avatar. Aang is a terrible warrior
I think Korra could eek out a win over Aang if you compare their corasponding finales. But if you include the teams as well, I do agree that Team Aang wins.
🤣🤣 Sure , korra has only two great feats to her name the Giant and the portal . 1. The only way she got the giant was because of harmonic convergence and she wasnt the avatar when she did it cause rava was taken out of her meaning anybody with a small amount of spirituality could turn into the giant not to mention that korra lost every fight against Unavaatu to the point that jinora had to save her ass cause she was dying to Unavaatu . 2. The portal was cool as hell ngl , but she did not make the portal she just deflected it .
Korra did not beat any of her villains on a 1 on 1 Amon - she kicked him out of a window , he got embarrassed because all the people saw he was a bender then his brother killed him Unavaatu - he kicked the ass and took rava out of her , then she turned into the giant and he kick her ass again 😒 🙄 😑 to the point that Jinora had to save her ass by bringing rava back cause she wasn't the avatar anymore . Zaheer - he kicked her ass poisoned her and then she needed the entire new airbender nation to stop 1 guy and once again jinora saved her ass . Kuvira - the fist fight..yes she had ptsd ill giver her that , second fight she had no ptsd and Kuvira and her were equally matched the only reason she got Kuvira was cause Kuvira injured herself and she gave herself up . And in her comics which are canon that take place after S4 ,she got her cheeks recked by a street thug .
In aang comics ( which are canon ) he is a fully realised Avatar and his comics don't go past the age of 14 soooo ( he became a fully realised Avatar way befor korra did .
FEATS 1. Aang at 14 out Kyoshied Kyoshi , hi lifted/split one of the biggest cities in ATLA history U Dow , he did it so fast that zuko had no time to react and fell into the canyon . 2. Aang turned into a earth bending giant something nobody has done thus far . 3. He killed an ancient spirit that was over a 100 feet tall , With 1 move . A spirit that Avatar yeng Chen fought with for an entire night and couldn't beat ( mind you yeng Chen was in her prime and aang was only 14 ) .
AIR - Aang WATER - Korra EARTH - Aang FIRE - Aang =< Korra A.S - Aang Aang has shown far greater power at 14 than we have seen Korra at 21 And every avatars power level is different that is why Kyoshi is more powerful than roku even tho Roku come after Kyoshi . Nowhere did it say that every avatar is more powerful than the last . Nowhere .
They did say in TLOK that Korra was the first metal bending Avatar, so I don`t think Aang ever learned how to do it

@@mato2677I think it makes sense that korra would be stronger because of the future of bending being changed but I still like Aang better then korra

Yeah, I think I'll have to agree. Avatar the Last Airbender might be the superior show but because Aang was trained and has philosophies of a monk, that holds him back a lot. If we age them up to where they would be at their best, Korra has metal bending and Aang didn't metal bend that we know of. If we did a fight focusing on individual elements that Aang would win Air fight but get stomped in the Water, Fire and Earth battles.

Aang lost against almost everybody, he’s too much of a pacifist when fighting. Like going against Azula in Crossroads of Destiny and Ozai in the finale. Korra is as aggressive as them, so she’d win. Korra’s fighting style would be too overbearing for him, only way he’d win is by doing surprise moves Korra wouldn’t expect
if aang wasnt a pacifist he would've killed ozai

Best youtuber of our time thanks for your work
(This is in no way made to bash Korra and bring up Aang, this is merely my observation and may be offensive to some but I don't care so here we go.) It's the circumstances that they both were in that molded the kind of person they are; and genetics and culture.

People don't realise that season 1 Aang vs season 1 Korra is wayyyyy closer than they think....... Even with just Airbending Aang is extremely difficult to tag the only time you can tag him is if he is protecting someone or something or a bit distracted aside that it's very difficult the only problem is that Aang doesn't have any way of putting down Korra at that point so eventually Korra is going to win but it would be a high diff win that will take a lot of time even with her mastery of the three elements
Now end of season 3 Aang is a different beast entirely this video conviniently forget the fact that not only is Aang as a master Airbender almost impossible to hit he also has the added advantage of seismic Sense which makes it even more difficult to tag him this makes him even faster.
See the final battle between Korra and kuvira and you realise how even they were all because of kuvira speed and agility even after the so called poison was removed it was still extremely hard for Korra kuvira was just too fast ...... Aang is a speed demon ..... See his battle with Ozai he evaded and evaded and evaded even point blank comet enhanced lightening strikes he could still evade Ozai was flying at full speed yet Aang was still faster Korra has nothing close to the attack power of a comet enhanced Ozai Aang can dodge everything she can dish and easily counter even metal bending won't do her much good Aang would walk circles around her it won't be funny it would be like Korra trying to hit the wind almost similar to her training duel with Toph only difference is Aang would be much more faster
And then there's the avatar state .......
Dunno korra wpuld vilve up to that, and not hesitate to kill ozai. I dont want to dismiss aang, but korra would have florished if she were in his position there with a clear enemy.
@@marocat4749 I have to disagree here, let’s say Korra was in Aang’s position. She’s mastered air as she’s an air nomad right. But the whole 100 years pass and now she basically has to master 3 elements without having any masters. Korra’s personality is such a contrast to Aang that I doubt she’d be able to do it. ( I could explain why but I don’t wanna type so much)
but we arent talking about that. korra is stronger and would win against aang
@@Artoria_77 korra had 3 elements at birth and was headstrong asf even as a toddler.
Korra would have wiped all of aangs enemies in a day without flinching.
Aang didnt master the elements, right at the end he and toph both say he is no where near ready..
Aang is also empowered by sozins comet and still cant do shit except run away like he always does, then wins by pure luck activating avatar state.
Ozai is a weak asf opponent im not sure why everyone thinks he was a fire bending god.. zuko had multiple opportunities to kill him, ozai wasnt even a real threat outside of the comet, but then Aang was also empowered by the comet so its existence didnt even mean anything because they both still ended up on even terms..
aang would also be able to access the skills of his past lives while Korra lost this connection
Suyin said Korra is the first metalbending avatar, so I guess Toph couldn't teach Aang
No Avatar State? Korra High Diff
Avatar State? Aang High Diff
Korea’s potential is absolutely nuts. Her power is top tier and her technique is more combat focused.
Avatar state korra his is the first avatar to have ravas 100% full power
Aang Gang here 💯💯
I can't wait for the next avatar to show up
Have you there been any news on who's the next Avatar because some people say it's going to be an Earthbender.
@@animezilla4486 yes I have and I am very excited 😊
funny how This came out right when i started watching the last airbender. im not gonna spoil myself tho lol
And even then he ended up training with an ancient simile dead race of sun warriors and the dragons.
Korra despite always using fire has not witnessed the true meaning of fire in that sentence. She never got the light show that aang experience where The only thing they could say it “ I understand“
We don't know that.
Zuko probably changed how the fire nation used fire, as well as she's raised under the white lotus so she could have been taken to the sun warriors during her time.

Aangs Positives Are: Korras Avatar State is weaker, Korra is hot headed, and Stubborn. And Aangs Avatar state is stronger! And Airbending
Aangs cons are that
That he is just is not as powerful, And is not as good in other elements, Korra has metal bending and can turn into a big spirit monster. I like Airbender a little more than Legend Of Korra. But cmon Aangs is gonna lose.

What do you think of this video?
@@aresrivera9744 Good Point. But the question is If Aangs Avatar state can beat Korra even though she has metal bending and she is better with fire, earth, water.
1. Rava in prime? Ang has Rava too lol
2. If you equalize the age we don’t actually know where Ang would be at. We don’t see him at that age.
@@joshuacollins9316 Clown Aang had a diminished raava like all avatars before him. Korra refused with Raava in her prime, when she was the size she was before Wan split her and Vaatu apart. Equalizing the age doesn't help him, korra has shown to be a better fighter than him.
(Not that that’s fair to Korra , but it was where she was at at that time)
So the age and point in their lives at which they fight does matter.
Finally a video where they actually use facts and even variables
You forget that in the avatar state aang has the advantage because he has the wisdom knowledge and battle experience of past avatars while Korra doesn't
Can you do a review on Danny phantom?
Aang would win easily because his avatar state would actually matter
Aangs Positives Are: Korras Avatar State is weaker, Korra is hot headed, and Stubborn. And Aangs Avatar state is stronger! And Airbending

I dont care what no one say i feel like Korra can beat aang she learn way more elements did he did aang never learned metal bending but korra did and the only reason why korra lost majority over her fights was because her emenys were stronger if aang was going against all korra villains I don't think he would survived to be honest

And who mess up the past avatars connection
And open a portal to the spirit world causing chaos
And how she useless the avatar state pretty much everytime she uses it
Yeah ozai is pretty meh for korra villains between Blood Bending to OP plz nerf Amon Dark Avatar Unalock and the evil white lotus and Spirit Mecha kuvira
Can we get a theory on lila
You're missing one thing tho anng can take bending away and even if she got it back it took her awhile shown in the first season show anng mops
If Aang doesn't fight with his pacifistic nature, then he will definitely win.
Edit: Also the only reason Korra lost to Kuvira becuz her body still had the poison that was bended into her.
Actually she had gotten the poisen out at that point, but she still hadent mentally fully recovert.
I mean kuvira bluffed kinda there , and was right, but she knew too she was screwed if not.

Day 1 of asking for a video on Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu
In my honest opinion I like them both but I think Korra will win the fight against Aang.
My money is on korra
I think Korra could eek out a win over Aang if you compare their corasponding finales. But if you include the teams as well, I do agree that Team Aang wins.
@Blitz Vibesz yeah I forgot about that fact. Good point
Avatar Kyoshi takes it all lmao 😂
You have disappointed me as an aang lover😭😭😭😭 why does Korra get all the groly
Aang doesn't know metal bending unlike korra
Aang.
Korra did not beat any of her villains on a 1 on 1
Amon - she kicked him out of a window , he got embarrassed because all the people saw he was a bender then his brother killed him
Unavaatu - he kicked the ass and took rava out of her , then she turned into the giant and he kick her ass again 😒 🙄 😑 to the point that Jinora had to save her ass by bringing rava back cause she wasn't the avatar anymore .
FEATS
AIR - Aang
WATER - Korra
EARTH - Aang
FIRE - Aang =< Korra
A.S - Aang
Aang has shown far greater power at 14 than we have seen Korra at 21
And every avatars power level is different that is why Kyoshi is more powerful than roku even tho Roku come after Kyoshi .
Nowhere did it say that every avatar is more powerful than the last . Nowhere .
