@@danwillreview Oh I totally get why it lost, it’s just that Siberian Breaks has a special place in my heart. Similar to how the woman with beautiful long hair said she felt about the song.
I was quite literally thinking about when this was going to be posted this morning! It was awesome to get to vote for a bracket, and I still have that playlist saved to my Spotify
whats crazy is i listened to all the songs one day so i could do the bracket then my card got stolen and i cancelled it and my patreon didnt renew and i havent since 😭 but its ok coz now i get to be suprised watching for the first time. just like how i was suprised watching my cousin die in my own arms the day my aunt died the day my uncle died in my own arms
This was really an amazing video. I’m glad you kept it to the patreon. My favorite song (I am not a patron) on this bracket was definitely Fear, but I’m glad Day Dreaming could win. I gave it a listen for this video and was really was a special song. If it had been a public vote, people like me would have voted for fear and it would have walked easily. That would have been great too, but it was cool to see these songs I’m less familiar with get their flowers against the top seeds. All together a great video that leaves me feeling like I love music a little more.
Your guys music taste is such a perfect duo. You both love some of my favourite artists of all time, but also like artist that I’ve never heard that I’ve grown to love.
i just gotta say i love the doc watson on here. my grandfather was friends with him, he was such a great guy! there’s even a statue for him in his hometown :) more people should definitely check him out.
Haven't seen the whole thing yet, but I genuinely want to thank Graydon for making me discover I've Known Rivers. I've first heard it in one of his playlists and it's become one of my favorite songs of all time since then, god it's so good!!
It was a wonderful experience to hear Riley and Graydon explain their love for these songs. Learning about deep cuts and new stuff was also fantastic. Absolute banger video.
Nothing makes me happier rn than watching grayden and riley gush about their favourite music to each other. I have watched this video too many times man
This might be my favorite hivemind video. I feel like I’m there with you learning about the deep love for music you both have. I’m so happy that both of you exist.
Wouldn't expect anything less than a classic Finals match-up between "The Electric Slide" -Marcia Griffiths and "I Love It" -Kanye West coming from these legends
Are you guys not big into metal? New to your channel , love it x Man Caribou Can't do without you has to be one of my all time favs. So heartfelt, you're so right. Saw him live last summer, was incredible Saw Radiohead back in 2017 after a whole year of listening to essentially JUST them. Goddamit, I'd say I've almost seen a hundred live shows since then and it's still the best Sorry to sea Dream House not go through. Incredible fucking song. Also Deafheaven last year, they blew us away. Was kinda surreal being thrown through the different vibes from later albums, they sounded great but was jarring in a way. Some of the heaviest shit I've ever seen live to way softer sounds. Was still incredible Goddam yesss Wouldn't Mama be Proud! YOU GOTTA TELL ME QUICKLY, CUS I NEED TO KNOW! RIP Absolute legend. Get shivers even thinking of that song

Also Graydon not liking italian restaurant at first crushed my soul into a million pieces and i was this close to deleting the mass shooting video we did together before he turned it around in the end. But just because you provided me with the medicine for my wound does not change the fact that you were the one that inflicted the wound on me to begin with. Time is the only thing that will determine our relationship in the future.
Have a nice day and praise our lord and savior
that’s so graydon of u
this video has permanently changed my music taste in ways i cannot describe
this is one of my favourite videos on youtube i'm not even kidding. just good vibes
This bracket introduced me to Labi Siffre, and I have listened to him on repeat for over a month, thank you!
got almost a bit emotional over Riley's genuine wholesome appreciation for being able to share his favorite music, only to be pulled back to earth with Graydon describing putting a raw dog inside you to get off.. love this channel
Kinda my favorite hivemind video ever. Took me absolutely forever to finish it because I kept pausing to listen to the full songs.
i just wanted to thank you riley because i really fuckin loved iceblink luck and watched the music video for it like 50 damn times and ended up listening to the whole album and i cannot believe i havent heard of this shit before i love dream pop thank you so much for letting me know about this album
Ive been really into loads of different music for like 15 years now, big record collection and everything, and yet i literally only knew around 15 or so songs from the whole bracket
I think its really cool that music is so huge that people can be just as passionately into it as each other, and yet have completely different frames of reference
this is an awesome comment
I've somehow only heard 2 of them
Poison Oak getting cut directly into Siberian Breaks losing in the first round hurts my soul.
Siberian Breaks is a 12 minute slowburn. Compared to Outstanding, which is a trim and very funky little bop. Makes total sense
@@danwillreview Oh I totally get why it lost, it’s just that Siberian Breaks has a special place in my heart. Similar to how the woman with beautiful long hair said she felt about the song.
any bright eyes song getting cut first round hurts, but at least dramamine made it through.
All timer. You guys should do a 32 bracket of grants favorite songs on unlimited but you guys still get to pick and piss him off
i’ve probably watched every single hivemind video at least twice and i think this one is my favourite
I was quite literally thinking about when this was going to be posted this morning! It was awesome to get to vote for a bracket, and I still have that playlist saved to my Spotify
One of my favorite shows in high school was The World is a Beautiful Place at a frat house in Ann Arbor. Great band, glad to see them on here.
Would love to see something like this with your friends favourite songs
Grant, Quadeca, Brad, Eden, I’d love to see their tastes
Love Graydon’s music taste and the way he explain songs in his perspective
The fact that Kraus, Bob Dylan, and Drake are all on the same bracket is insane
whats crazy is i listened to all the songs one day so i could do the bracket then my card got stolen and i cancelled it and my patreon didnt renew and i havent since 😭 but its ok coz now i get to be suprised watching for the first time. just like how i was suprised watching my cousin die in my own arms the day my aunt died the day my uncle died in my own arms
Is this a joke... ?
Please
@@CL2- the last part is yes
@@CheapVacationYT Oh phew lol
@@CL2- its a reference to one of rileys bits
This was really an amazing video. I’m glad you kept it to the patreon. My favorite song (I am not a patron) on this bracket was definitely Fear, but I’m glad Day Dreaming could win. I gave it a listen for this video and was really was a special song. If it had been a public vote, people like me would have voted for fear and it would have walked easily. That would have been great too, but it was cool to see these songs I’m less familiar with get their flowers against the top seeds. All together a great video that leaves me feeling like I love music a little more.
I love watching these guys talk about something they love. This is probably my favorite Hivemind video thus far.
Your guys music taste is such a perfect duo. You both love some of my favourite artists of all time, but also like artist that I’ve never heard that I’ve grown to love.
It would be cool doing a bracket like this where the choices are done by fans but you guys have to guess which song won each matchup.
dignan talking about his old-school jazz folk & country favourites is just peak content to me
i just love the way the two of them talk about their favourite music so much
IKR??? THEYRE SO CUTE
i just gotta say i love the doc watson on here. my grandfather was friends with him, he was such a great guy! there’s even a statue for him in his hometown :) more people should definitely check him out.
Was really nice to see them just genuinely enjoy listening and enthusiastically talking about their favorite songs I really liked this video
Hey hivemind, great video! Little strange that the album OK Orchestra by AJR won the best songs bracket. Other than that, thumbs up!
Riley’s song choices now make me understand why his other bracket choices are the way they are
Nothing makes me happier rn than watching grayden and riley gush about their favourite music to each other. I have watched this video too many times man
another video to put on my phone to fall asleep to. thank you hivemind
This might be my favorite hivemind video. I feel like I’m there with you learning about the deep love for music you both have. I’m so happy that both of you exist.
need graydon to drop his spotify playlist because im loving every song
FR
Your playlist made me listen to so much music I forgot I love.
1:35:16 69% percent Drake. He knew. DIGGY was the MOLE.
I’m very happy Riley said All I Need is his second favourite song by Radiohead. It’s my favourite song by them and I never hear people bringing it up.
Wouldn't expect anything less than a classic Finals match-up between "The Electric Slide" -Marcia Griffiths and "I Love It" -Kanye West coming from these legends
Are you guys not big into metal? New to your channel , love it x
Man Caribou Can't do without you has to be one of my all time favs. So heartfelt, you're so right. Saw him live last summer, was incredible
Saw Radiohead back in 2017 after a whole year of listening to essentially JUST them. Goddamit, I'd say I've almost seen a hundred live shows since then and it's still the best
Sorry to sea Dream House not go through. Incredible fucking song. Also Deafheaven last year, they blew us away. Was kinda surreal being thrown through the different vibes from later albums, they sounded great but was jarring in a way. Some of the heaviest shit I've ever seen live to way softer sounds. Was still incredible
Goddam yesss Wouldn't Mama be Proud! YOU GOTTA TELL ME QUICKLY, CUS I NEED TO KNOW! RIP Absolute legend. Get shivers even thinking of that song
