It's good to see activity from one of the best Non-Chinese Taiko player, Congrats on the FC. Also can't help but notice Mario Kart arcade GP in the background. What were you doing while you were gone? Just to know.
I almost fc’d this song in the arcade which according to my experience it was an achievement but the third time they repeat the part everybody knows I missed a few notes somehow
I was looking for any Taiko no Tatsujin arcade cabinets in America and this was the closest one to me! A bit disappointed it's not one of the newer cabinets but I'm glad the arcade has reopened! I'll have to check it out someday!
This arcade is closing permanently in early January, so I recommend going before it's too late. It's very spacious and only a few people go, so it's pretty safe. ( notice: twitter.com/_S_E_I_R_O_/status/1332111598970925057?s=20 )
Heh funny story, so I was playing yawaraka tank (or soft tank in eng) and so I was playing but I correctly hit the notes but not in the game I was confused and then I noticed some people have been smashing the drum because I couldn’t even get a decent role on the thing
Are you a New England Taiko player? There's not many of us. 😅 They're open at the same hours as usual, 2p sides are marked with a note but still accessible I think
@@Kev2o2 I am indeed! Before quarantine I used to go there all the time for taiko and several of their other rhythm games. Very glad to hear it's up and running again!

I growed up with arcades and do so miss them....but here in Sweden it´s practically banned since arcade centers is taxed VERY HEAVILY, so no one can afford having an arcade as a business! The only existing one is in Gothenburg - Liseberg. very very old machines and some claw games!
I'm hoping to find a taiko machine in the Round 1 arcade I used to go to. Especially after not going since last September I can't wait to go back to that arcade
Round1 in Seattle also has a Taiko game, but the only game they have is 14. Same with Gameworks, but they only have 9. Plus, Taiko 9's drums in Gameworks doesn't respond very well.
This R1 arcade in Taunton closed down in January, so Im not so lucky anymore lol. This Taiko cab was sent to Cumberland Mall in Atlanta, Georgia. Now it sits there in a much nicer Round 1 location.
how is that drum so sensitive ive played on like 3 different taiko 12-14 cabinets and they all suck i gotta hit harder than usual and they still dont register anyway :/ maybe its because im using the house bachi instead of custom ones? sooo annoying
It's not sensitive at all. Playing on it would often end with sore hands. All old taiko cabinets are like this, and they're poorly maintained, only making it worse.
Wait what?? Well, if you're in the US you might be able to find an old CRT cabinet. Green ver. (2019) was also on sale at the beginning of this year for $8k on Facebook, who know's if it's still available. If you're being serious, you might want to DM me on Twitter (@Kev2o2)
POGCHAMP ngl this reminds me of the PSP taiko (The arcade near me is still closed with a spanish taiko which kickstarted my hyperfixation of taiko, its a locally owned one but still a hour away lol) Edit: ITS OPENING BACK UP SOON YESSSSSS
I absolutely love how this location put Mario Kart right next to Taiko so you can see the Don-Chan from Taiko in the screen lol.
There 69 likes that more like it 😏

Round1 literally introduced me to Taiko no Tatsujin. Got the Switch game a year or two ago for Christmas, and I’ve been ADDICTED.

That’s why I prefer katsu well one of the reasons
The only arcades that are nearby for me is a chucky cheeses and has about 6 worthwhile games
Why can't they have cute drum game?
There was a Taiko 13 machine in my local arcade but they replaced it with the new version.
I LOVE THIS GAME!
Woah there’s a round 1 in my mall but we don’t have a Taiko machine, didn’t know it was a chain.
Super cool.
I wish I have a cool arcade like this near me >0< I hope you hand a great time in there!! I like this song 😊

In difficultly select, go to the far right, continue hitting right until you've unlocked Oni.
