4 deck mixing sort of (well 4 tunes playing at the same time anyway)

- easy this is a quick mix where i manage to mix 4 tunes at the same time, it sort of went out a little but trying to concentrate on 4 tunes beats at the same time was HARD!

track list, in the order you hear them:
1. Total Science - going in circles.
2. Q-Project - safety clause (Tango & Ratty remix).
3. UN-CUT - Midnight (Marcus Intalex & ST Files Remix)
4. Generation Dub - Weird Science.
5. MIST;I;CAL - Mistical Dub.

@dhoudwinie In this case I used virtual DJ as a 4th deck as I could not fit one more deck on my desk.
also I don't have every tune I own on vinyl so I use virtual DJ for the tunes that I have as MP3's.
I like vinyl so time code seems the obvious choice. i actually like virtual DJ as well.

actually your not the only prison to ask about this, there are quite a few people asking about how to record video and audio for mixes, so I think I might do a in depth video on the subject. sorry I haven't been putting any videos up lately I've been working so much lately and I haven't had time, I should hopefully have some videos up soon.

@dhoudwinie That's cool no offence taken, I see what you mean, I have ordered traktor pro just can use it for time code yet because I don't have any control vinyl, but I do have the serato vinyl so I'm just using it for the time being.

@guido69x you mean the beat counters on the mixer? because if you did there's no need to put tape on them, lol they are useless for drum and bass, also the cross fader was only assigned to two of the channels, so the beat counters only measure the channels the fader is assigned to.
and the beat counters in VDJ are not very accurate with time code.
I don't like to use beat sync its cheating so I disable it.

LOL I know each of us have our own music tastes, but IMO, the only thing I hear from drum n' bass and dubstep music is the Powerpuff Girls theme drum sample going even faster than its original version over and over again, along with Nintendo sounds LOL. Anyway, congrats on your videos, they're very informative and this one is cool, since you tested your DJ skills at max. Keep it up, mate!

Hi i have now changed my phono leads and fixed my pitch range using your videos. Thank you very much they are easy to follow and very good. I do alot of mixes for my youtube account and would like to ask you how i can record HD video with HD sound. At the minute i record with a web cam and i external sound card into my pc. i have various problems. sound quality not great and sometimes the video lags behind the audio. it would be a great help for me if u could explain how u made this video. Thnks

@viperfrank not on the mixer but on the software,traktor have a very accurate bpm counter,even have a very accurate loop (dont need the perfect timing to make a perfect loop).And a lot of djs i allready saw they just can mix using the bpm counters and the sync.In my opinion as a professional(im dj and producer almost 20 years)thats kind of lame and it takes the credits to the real djs.Keep going dont stop ;)

Add me to the list of people asking/wanting/needing a tut for audio / video recording , would be nice to be able to still record audio with audacity and use what you showed in a previous vid and add it to the video , im familiar with MKV container and its very easy to use but dont know if can be used on UA-cam

get traktor scratch ,and the kx1 midi controler ;)with beat sync on this days even a death guy can mix.Put some tape on the beat counters and do another 4 tracks mix again
