We see lots of limited edition football boots sell out almost instantly these days, but rarely do we see "regular' releases selling out, or in this situation, have a complete lack of availability. But for whatever reason, Adidas is seemingly having a very hard time producing and keeping the new top-end X Ghosted boots in stock! In today's video we take a closer look at the new Precision to Blur pack colorway of the Adidas X Ghosted.1, and talk about a few potential theories that I have as to why they seem to bee so hard to get. @@ScottieFifteen I have a pair right now and I’ve had them for maybe two months. From what I’ve seen the glue holding the sole plate to the upper is very weak especially when there are changes in temperatures.

You should try them at a retail store. I also have wide feet but using one of the football shoes from these X ghosted series and they are very comfortable

You should do a video using the foot measuring tool at your local shoe store if possible to truly show your foot size. Will be very helpful to viewers if they they truly can see your foot length and width measurements.

What's with the weird lacing on the side instead of on the middle, what's up with that?
The lacing on these appears to sit right along the 1st metatarsal and arch of the foot, that probably would give it a very secure fit. It's something you see a lot on track spikes

A few reasons why these may be delayed, 1.I can only assume that a lot of the Adidas football boots are manufactured in Indonesia, a country which is affected heavily by the pandemic; so it’s interesting to see how many factories are in operation. 2. Majority of the shipping companies are short of containers from Asia to the US as the US ports are having an issue processing the shipments, therefore the containers can not be offloaded and reloaded to come back to Asia. Freight forwarding has been a serious global issue. So many reasons which can be the cause of the delays of products hitting the warehouses and distribution centers

Similar, but not exactly the same. I show the comparison in the video. Also, one colorway that's similar to another one when they're 7 years apart, I don't think that's so bad.

I keep hearing him talking about wearable finish/ non-wearable finish when talking about the studs. What does that mean?
The color of the soleplate. Lots of top-end boots have an actual painted surface layer on the soleplate that will chip away as you wear the boots. These don't have that. The soleplate is just purple colored plastic.

Going down at least a full size is pretty normal, sometimes 1.5 sizes is necessary. that's a tricky boot to recommend a specific size in, because you can't really base it off of anything else. They stretch a lot though, so you want them fit as tight as possible out of the box, without being uncomfortable of course.

Hi Josh, I recently bought a pair of SG Mizuno Morelia neo 3's. Do you know where I can buy replacement/longer studs for them, as they don't come with any spares? Would Nike/smartpower France studs work or do you know of anything else?
Try a brand called Uhlsport, they mainly do GK gloves, but their studs are brilliant.

Probably not ideal if you struggle with foot cramps.

I have wide feet too,,those boots doesnt fit me well after tried on my local store it feels like squeezing ur foot and my heels feels pain after wearing couples of minute,,, nemeziz,copa,puma ultra and nike phantom venom trust me they r maybe forgiving for wide footed people n comfortable too,,

@@wtfx5757 when i said heal in my reply to you i meant ankle, and also on the X ghosted + i tried those on too and the heel part isn’t grippy and slips so i would recommend the .1s but if they fit you good then i would keep them

Because of Brexit uncertainty, there's a shit load panic importing going on across Europe and the UK, causing a European wide shortage of shipping containers. This has contributed to the shortage of PS5 consoles, so possibly there's a container full of Adidas boots that are simply stuck in port, like millions of other non-essential products.
