glad to see this update ! Ignore the fool's comments !
hell yeah
Do you know whether they envisage to enrich chlorine or use natural chlorine only ?
The experimental reactor will use natural chlorine, but this is not necessarily the case for a demonstration- or commercial-scale machine
@@brandonchisholm1443 Thanks Brandon.
If it' s so (i.e. natural chlorine) may I ask you how you envisage to cope with corrosion (due S production) in a high temp, fast spectrum environment ?
@@Alessandro-1977 Given the low flux and relatively low duration of the experiment, the amount of S produced from irradiation of Cl should not be substantial enough to impact corrosion performance. Initial calculations made fairly bounding assumptions and showed the amount of S produced was not of concern. For a higher power and/or longer running machine, this may not be the case.
Does anyone believe in the new type of reactor?
Yes
That's good to hear. It gives the developers the
opportunity to continue working on the project.
But you don't want to be one of them.
Because you have all the good reasons on
your side that you can invest your money
much more wisely elsewhere.@@zandlerthewizard
Does not appear to be saying anything. Been a third of the way have not learned anything. Still nothing. A molten salt reactor for a alphabet regulator.
