My husband and I have a 14 year age difference. I'm the same age as Minyoung and my husband is older, but he doesn't look his age and he's my best friend. Age is just a number..like my grandma says.
I was shocked to hear that Pilar is so young since Pilar is so mature, in a great way. I have to say that Minyoung made the right choice and was very fortunate to have someone like Pilar in this relationship because despite her youthfulness she has a presence of mind and wisdom that defies her chronological age. I think if you're younger than 18 and dating, then a 6-year age gap is a big deal, but once you're an adult, it doesn't really matter much. Unless you're like 10+ years apart and one person looks significantly older, then it's not really an issue.

I know this is a video from two years ago but I recently found your channel and I love it! I am a 26 year old Japanese living in London with my 33 year old German boyfriend. Another international couple in London here! And I can relate SO MUCH! He is my first boyfriend ever and we are together for 6 years now. I met him when I was 20, a month after I came to the UK from my home country all alone. In the beginning, I was so scared that he would compare me with his beautiful blond ex girlfriends and think that I am too childish or not good enough in general. Now I never really think about our ages and I kind of freak out a bit on his birthday when I think about his age 😅

나이는전혀 문제가 안되고 서로 맞추면서 살아야, 굴복은 절대없고 서로 이해하며 사는 것이 가장 중요합니다.
현실은 쉽지않지만, 스스로 배려하는 마음을 항상 가지도록 노력해야.
정말 부모님들이 이해와배려하면서 살아라 하는게 정말 살아보니 와닿더라구요..
Age doesn't really matter, what matters is to understand each other. Fun fact: you can always tease him like I do with my friend about his age but yeah tease him just to make him laugh no other intentions ^^

I was in a serious relationship with someone 6 years older than myself also. It was hard at times since we were both in different stages of our lives but we made the best out of it. Sadly he got a job abroad and I was just a sophomore in college so we saw it best to split for each other’s futures. At least you guys are living together and figuring it out one day at a time. I know exactly how Pilar feels. I'm one of the youngest in my group of friends (2000). Most of my friends are from 1999, 1998 and 1997 and a lot of people in my course are from the 90s. So in a way I feel more mature than most people of my age. But age is just a number anyway.

Me and my partner have a 10 years age gap but I didn't knew at first as he apears to be younger. We've been together for almost 5 years now and honestly I've realized it doesn't really matter as long as you have similar life objectives and experiencies.
But yeah, sometimes I do notice the age diference.

I wouldn’t worry about the age difference. I think you are overthinking it. As long as you love and respect each other. It’s also important that you communicate your feelings and are willing to work on your relationship. My husband is 12 years older than me. It never has been an issue for us.

I truly enjoyed your video. Pilar, you are very mature for your age. Age does not matter as long as the two together understand each other. Have respect for each each other. It is give and take in any relationship because you have to learn about as well from each other. HAHAHA I can totally relate with Pilar! My boyfriend is 1992 but I'm 1997. So technically we're only 5 years apart. He's also around 민영's age and like you guys mentioned, I'm here calculating our ages and thinking I need to have kids or would like to get married at this certain age so you know we're still kind of sort of young. But, I'm the one that's still in school. Planning my life til 88 just like you ! :)
