These are amazing! Thanks so much! If you wanted to use acetate, could you score a line in the corner pieces to tuck it in or would that not give enough surface area for the glue?
Hi Julie, the lanterns are lovely, I love the little candles , I have some candlesticks that need candles and your tutorial has given me an idear for those. Could I ask for some advice please , could you tell me what to make chimney breasts out of, and have you done a tutorial on how to make and fix the chimney breast. I hope you don't mind me asking Julie x
Thanks Julie, I'm glad you're going to have a go at the candles. For the chimney breast, take a look through my Dolls House Diary Tutorials for The Study, where I show you how to build and attach one. :)
Glueing with the grain in opposite directions would actually make it stronger. That's how Plywood is made. Each sheet has the grain running in the opposite direction to the next sheet.
really very nice lanterns
Thanks so much 😊

I brought myself 1 of those little hand drills they are brilliant my favourite tool lol. The lanterns would be great in a Halloween 🎃 house too x
The little drills, or pin drills as they're sometimes called, are a great little tool. The lanterns would be great as part of a Halloween display! :)
Can u display the link here for the drill
❤❤
So cute❤👍tfs
Thank you! 🤗
Absolutely adorable. Do you think the large one could be added to a pole and base to make a street lamp for pre-electricity times?
Yes, I'm sure it could! That's a lovely idea.

What size is the wood please in the squares
Have another look at the cutting list, you'll find all the sizes there.
Thankyou I went through all the transcript senior moment thanks I love all your work everything u do
But I’m still struggling how to plan my lighting how do u know where you want table lamps wall light etc
@@janetcrompton2109 it’s a good idea to make a floor plan of where you’ll have your furniture, then you can work out where you want the lamps etc.

I like the look of it with the grain in the same direction. Plus, they don't need to be strong, they're not supporting any weight.
Where is the subtitles?
You need to press CC.
It's the same with every video - you need to press the CC button for the subtitles to appear.
I did tried turn on cc many times and not work.
