Tanks for sharing your awesome craft. The way you do out of lable uses is outstanding. Even people without a lot of money can use your ideas for their own projects. Great 😊
I have been trying to locate some of them fans to no avail. You have made some wonderful things with these fan blades that I want to try and make. Wish me luck on finding those. Love your channel.
I have one of those fans. They are made of sandalwood, often. I used to get mine from Chinatown in San Francisco. I think I have also seen them in import shops, such as CostPlus. Others have mentioned Amazon. I would add possibly places like Wish or Ali Express, though I don’t usually recommend such stores. If you found a plastic one EXACTLY like this, it might work if you sanded it. But most plastic ones that I’ve seen in places like Dollar Tree don’t have the same pierced “metal” quality, unfortunately. Good luck!
I love the use of these LEDs for small lighted items; I want to try this but pulling the wires upwards to twine with (or even be part of) the chain holding the lantern next to, say, a front door.
That is gorgeous final lantern and ingenious use of the fan 🥰 how did you connect the battery? Does it have a way to turn it off/ on? Thanks for posting!
Oh i love this too. Where do you find the wooden fans? I used to see them all the time before anyone ever used them for crafts now i only find the plastic
Beautiful. :D if This would be perfect idea to make one for my mini self doll one to help her for Halloween pitcher if she's wandering in a graveyard finding some new spooky friends. :D
@@yelenaday Yw, I would say mix the candle fire yellow and orange 3d effect. Which Halloween doll should I make? a Spider Yokai, Were Wolf, cat, I already made a lovely Halloween costum for my miniself doll. You pick which creature of the night should be.
Hi! The wires have a thin coat of transparent insulation, which should be removed (use a fine sandpaper) for a half-inch or so at the cut ends. Touch the wires from the sanded ends to the battery. If it does not light up reverse the connection or sanded bit more. Or use new battery. I also use a battery (AA) box that comes with a string LEDs , here you can see ua-cam.com/video/NpmGYJspvuI/v-deo.html
@@yelenadayThank you for your quick replay, I did all you suggest and I watched your video about the filing and so on. But I bought a string with 40 leds that works with a 1.5volt battery. So when I cut off one led wouldn’t it work only with 0.07 volts, or am I wrong? I don’t know anything about electricity and electronics. So maybe someone can help.
@@tenhats7036 Hi, can you try using two AA batteries in series and one led? Most leds need 3volts to work. If it doesn’t work try changing the cables around or another led. I’m in the process of making a video about the different kinds of leds and batteries you can use for lighting.
@@yelenaday Thank you for your advice. I tried 3 volts and it worked immediately. Other people told me never use more volts or the leds get busted. I am glad and learning every day. I look forward to your new videos, thanks.
