Outstanding Set period. This set could go as high as you want. I have a complete set but no where as nice as yours. Great video and Awesome coin set. Good luck and the collection at least AU if not MS!
I saw you comment on my video. You did what you were supposed to do. You sold them individually and had them graded. You will get the most out of them this way. Don't listen to people who start throwing our bid numbers when the coins are problem coins. Details means the coins where cleaned at one time so their value must be determined by the final hammer bid. Although I would have used Heritage Coin auctions personally. But to panic because you think someone is going to get rich or that the coins are graded wrong is not stress you need to have. Enjoy the fact these coins are getting bids and that most bids come in the last few minutes.
They sold fairly well... about $8,000 for the entire set. Problem is the auction fees added up to around $1,500. we probably should have just focused on the more valuable coins, instead of listing all 59. the details grades on a lot of these I think are still questionable, and some of them could be re-graded even higher, resold for even more than they went for us. But all things considered, we can't complain, I guess. we still have the two over dates that are yet to be listed, they had to be sent back to NGC for correction, because they messed up on even noting that they were over dates. it will be interesting to see how they grade them when they come back. Stay tuned, I'll post another video on those two coins when they come back and ready for listing... should be interesting!
Damn this is crazy. A complete set. Something like that I would’ve debated on putting it up for an auction like the big show in Florida every year. But time is always the culprit. How long did it take to assemble this? I have a couple Indian heads but nowhere near that shape. I have a 77 but it’s worn as can be.

They just sold on the auction fairly well. The 1877 Penny alone sold for almost $2,000. The 1909-S sold for over $900. The entire set sold for over $8,000. People who won the auctions can still resell some of these and still make a very good profit... The problem was all of the auction fees added up to over $1,500... we should have thought that through before listing so many separately, and focus just on the key dates. We still have the two overdates that are yet to be listed for auction, we are still waiting for them to come back from NGC To be corrected, because they messed up on noting that they were overdates. That's another reason I question some of the "details" grades by NGC, several might grade even better by another TPG, and be resold for even twice what we sold them for. Who knows...but guess we can't complain too much. Stay tuned though, I'm working on a video about the two overdates and will post when we list those on the auction... Hope NGC gives them respectable grades as well!
You done fucked up your father was right not to break it up they talked you into it to separate the good from the junk and my guess is that all key dates sold first and if I'm wrong then I'm wrong but I guarantee the key dates sold first you never break up a complete set

U needed to worry about the 1856 eagle if you had one in that collection it’s probably to late now I guess
Erm actually they made eagle cents 1854-1858 🤓
Incredible coins! This set is probably worth a few hundred dollars. Did you sell them all?
