I realise these videos are a few years old and I'm not sure if you still monitor the comments but if you do, I would love to know how to assemble the test rig that you are using in the video for testing the raptor console before installing back into the landy. Thanks
Enjoyed the video, looking at something similar myself but wondering about single DIN vs double DIN units - keen for Android Auto enabled heat unit. I noticed the Pumpkin unit in the vid clips on the upper rail when it pops out, sitting well short of the 90° it might want - looks like it sits at an ok angle when open though. From your travels, do you know if other manufacturer units are likely to break if stopped from opening fully or are they happy to sit about the same angle when free of the housing?
Brilliant to see you back with another video! You might want to rename the video relating to the raptor dash so people can watch this if they are installing it themselves.
Thanks for sharing a great video. Do you know where I can get the raptor dash template please? As I bought mine from a land rover show and it didn't come with a template to cut out the bottom section of the old dashboard.
I would email them - The problem is it comes on A3 rather than A4 paper so they probably can't email it to you but hopefully they can send one in the post
I don't know what the model number was I'm afraid, but it was single DIN with a double-DIN fold out screen running Android 7.1. I ditched it eventually as it took nearly a minute to boot up. I've now got a Pioneer AVH-Z7200DAB which is much quicker. Sadly it's not Android so I can't install standard Android apps, but it does have built in DAB which is mostly what I use it for anyway :)
The gauges are fuel pressure and oil pressure by ProSport and the radio is a Pumpkin unit - it was sat on a shelf in my workshop for a year before I got around to fitting it, so it's a bit out of date.
Cheers dude, always good to see a new vid!
can you see your radio screen when your drivng ok?

What Pumpkin unit have you installed? Is it a standard single din size?

Great video, where did you get the switches from?
A company called Bolt on Bits - you should be able to find them on eBay (the URL is in the closing credits of the video).
More! We want more and hurry up.
Thanks! I wish I had time :)
