A small difference makes a BIG difference! Going up in chain size...

- I wanted to make an in depth review video talking and showing the difference in a .5MM for chains. It doesn't sound like a lot but it definitely is. I'll use my most popular chain for reference (rope chain). I always recommend saving up and going with the next size up. Usually works out for most people. Please keep in mind these chains look bigger on camera. It's always a good idea to be patient with your chain purchase to insure it is the correct purchase. Thanks for watching!

Can vouch for this...not only does going up a size make a big difference, but because of how the chains look on camera versus in real life, those size differences are even more noticeable when you handle and wear them yourself.
I think a good rule of thumb is this: Look at the videos of neck shots, as those are the best at giving you an idea of how a size wears. Now, whatever size you think looks perfect as far as the look you want, it's probably the next size up from there that will actually give you that look you are picturing in your head.
Very well said.
I did that and bought a 5mm rope then ended up getting a 4mm as well. I actually like the size of the 4mm rope better to wear all the time.
I went 3mm to 5mm and couldn't be happier. Both are Jacoje so the quality is perfect on both. As B says, they width looks bigger on film. The diamond cuts shine so well on both. Happy shopping!
3mm what? Interested in sellin?
I feel like like I’m a kid in my favorite class watching these videos. Thank you.
Yup. Definitely happy I didn’t cheap out on my bracelet and got the 6mm rope.
You big baller you
I was going to go with the 4mm Franco and instead I went with the 5mm Franco and do not regret it!
Solid chain, top quality. Love my Franco and JACOJE rocks!
You always want to go at least one mm because when you see ur chain on camera and when you get it in the mail huge difference don’t even look like the same chai you saw on video
My next piece for my Jacoje collection will either be the 8mm cuban ring or a 5.5 flat curb chain. Can’t wait!
#Flatcurbgang!! 🤣
Imma have to grab the 5.5mm flat curb too
I got the 5.5 flat curb several months ago.. definitely worth it.
Just bought 7mm flat curb and it’s 💯🔥
Love my 7mm 28in flat curb from Jacoje its 🔥 straight 💧
Love my 4mm 24” rope chain🔥🔥🔥 amazing quality and solid as can be. The 5mm rope is one I will get one day after noticing the size difference. You wouldn’t think 1mm extra can make a huge difference but it does.
Go for 6mm! You won’t regret it!

@@truegrizzlesfan2292 how much
I have the 3.5 mm rope my coworker has the 2mm and the difference is drastic ! You can clearly see the rope design from a good distance on a 3.5mm compared to the 2mm you can barely see. BOTH great chains and incredibly well made. 1.5 mm of a difference is huge. Listen and just go up a size ! Paired with the mini diamond cross on a 3.5 mm diamond cut rope from JACOJE ! Shit bangggg
I went with a 2.5 mm rope chain.
Same I got it a while back but am getting the 3.5 Franco by beginning of April I’m excited as hell
@@jaydens2756 3.5mm franco is a beauty. Got mine 2 years ago from Jacoje. You will love it bro! Humble chain
@@legendz3277 I love it but I bought a 2.5 18k rope first so it’s hard looking at 14k color on the Franco or I think it’s just a more subtle classy chain and doesn’t necessarily shine like a rope but I went with the 4mm and love it.
Received my 4.5 m figaro yesterday, love it. Gives me 70’s John Lennon vibes. Chain I’ll wear forever
Good stuff👍🏽 Ayy ? How much you pay? Add the exact price like the total with shipping✌🏽

@@hiiighpwrhoe course bro we all family here 🙏
Excellent choice. Super solid and IMO one of the best every day chains you can just throw on and never take off. You also get a lot of chain for the price
Awesome video thanks for sharing. Yes I bought chains and after the new wore off I wish I had got a bigger one. Stay well and safe my friend.
This^^^^^ Braden is not kidding man I bought my 4mm 20 inch Miami Cuban chain and loved it until I started working out and getting bigger. So now I’m trying to sell mine and upgrade to 6-7mm!
Go for it bro!! I suggest 7mm in 22”. 👌🏼
how much u want for it?
What I don't get is if your 5mm is really 4mm due to the diamond cut then why not just list them as 4mm instead of 5mm? I just think it's misleading to consumers.
Is a 3.7mm the same as a 4mm. Can you show this difference?
i am literally losing sleep over 2.5mm vs 3mm
Same
I wanted simple sleek, still gonna shine and catch some attention, I got an 2.5
welcome to the club
Don’t get a 2.5 get a 3 it’s better
go 3 for bigger look off rip if you got 2mm or 2.5 stack it
Copped a 4mm from Jaxxon. Hope it looks decent and not obnoxious
Just ordered these of jacoje and loving the clean look my dude👍💯
I just found out about you , but unfortunately I ordered a hand made Cuban link chain from las villas jewelry Miami 14k 10mm 22inch and I been waiting 1 month as of today does it Normally take that long to make , I did get raised lettering … I’m just nervous still ain’t got it yet
Love the info helps a lot 😉
Can’t wait to order mine! What mm are you wearing when you talk on camera?
Educate a shopper gain a satisfied customer!
My friend has two rope chains , one 3mm the other is 4mm . I am not 100% sure they are gold because i did not have too much time to look at them but the 3mm seemsed alot more flexible and it was much esier to bend and all of that alo it was getting twisted less . Is this normal ?
Can’t wait to see the new PAMPS!!!!!! Smash 🔥
I co-signed this comment...
Great video. I was thinking about getting a new figaro 4.5mm at 24 inches but I think I wanna just move up to that even 5mm. Definitely worth it
I can attest to that going from a 3mm Jacoje rope to a 3.5 Jacoje rope and it’s a noticeable difference.
I’m thinking of selling my 4.5mm flat curb for a 3.5mm rope I’m wanting a round chain
@@freddyceeclaudio9990 I know that feelin
Damn. I got the 5 mm at 22 and was gonna get the 3mm or 3.5mm at 20 and I’m worried the 3 is too small. Lol
Yeah it is a hard one,im really on the fence with a 3.5mm franco dc next to a 3mm dc franco. That 1200$ difference tho lol ): ...but still leaning alil towards more the 3.5mm especially since im sure the size will be better in person. I understand u gotta pay to play.
If you are going to wear it on it’s own with no pendant I would say go 4mm and up. Worth that extra money for sure!
@@marris9210 no i was gonna wear it solitaire for abit but i was gonna see if braden would make a custome olde english D pendant but in a unique way since my name is David. Was gonna get the franco in 24 inches & maybe buy a boss cross later after that & a 4 or maybe 5mm franco bracelet to match (:
I bought a 3mm dc franco and sized up to 3.5mm. You're going to feel the 3.5mm around your neck constantly because it's almost twice the weight. If you're never going to take it off, the 3mm is less distracting, but the 3.5mm has way more presence. Let's be honest, it's jewelry and supposed to get noticed. For reference, the 3mm felt the same thickness as the plastic tip on the ends of shoelaces whereas the 3.5mm is thicker like the cord on your mouse or keyboard. Honestly, I'm probably going to buy a 3mm just as an every day chain and wear the 3.5mm when I go out.
@@danzors ohh I thought u already had a 3mm or did u give back the 3 & got the 3.5? Do u regret getting the 3.5?
@@davidgutierrez4102 yeah I exchanged the 3mm, but might order it again. I don't regret getting the 3.5mm. It was my first chain and I went to jewelry stores to check out sizes, but this is a higher quality chain with higher purity/weight since mine is 18k. Im not a big guy (under 5' 8") so it's too bulky for my personal everyday style. The weight also makes me self-conscious since I never take it off except to shower. It's going to be my go-to for special occasions.
Just got my 4mm rope today. Was gonna get a 3.5 I’m glad I didn’t
I lost my mind for a sec dam
What is the best Millimeter to start off for a woman?
Can you do a video just on the 2.5 franco diamond cut with pendants
Which rope chain sparkle the regular chain or the laser rope chain?
Just ordered 4mm 20 inch
JacoJeeee😊 You talk perfect and fast and I like that💥💥💥
I really want to see a 4mm rope vs a 3.5mm Franco, that Franco would be an upgrade from my 4mm rope but I want to ensure it’s not too thick
does anyone know whats a good 2nd chain to go with my 24 inch 3mm rope chain? im thinkin of getting a 20 inch 3mm franco diamond cut
At got the 3mm jacoje link I love it but kinda feel like I should have went bigger... but I am about to get the 5mm link bracelet!!
If you can, move up 1-2mm on the bracelet. I Have a 5mm curb bracelet and it’s pretty, but it’s very small and I’m starting to wish I had gotten an 7 or 8mm
Any sales coming up for the holiday?
What size cross pendant would you recommend for a 28 inch 4mm rope?
4 inch
Need more rose gold love. Harldy ever showcased
So if i buy a 6mm diamond cut rope and i measure the thickness after they do the diamond cut it will still measure 6mm?
No it won’t maybe will be 5.8 or 5.5 after the cut.. but don’t worry they charge you by grams..
@@neridynasty131 thanks!
Dope content my man🙏🏾
They do look bigger on camera, I have the 5mm tri color rope and the 4mm heavy link, and I’ve had chains before so I knew what I was getting, but I can definitely understand why some people see the video of a size and not be sure what it looks like in person
How you like the tri color!
J P I love it, it’s a very nice looking chain, you don’t see a lot of people with tri color chains so it’s cool to have something different
Going to college next year and with these gold prices up its gonna be a while before I get some decent jewerly. 🙂
Got that 3mm rope a few months back. My first chain and it’s shines crazzzyy

@@wcsdiaries i have a half oz liberty coin from jacoje that comes to like 22g on one of my byzantines so yea prob 4-5mm would be good... Is it about the size of a 50cent coin?
Im kind of ocd on size and weight from chain to pendant ratio i like around half the weight of my chain on my pendant... Like my byzantine chain is 42g and my coin pendant on it is 22g and my rope is 85g and my xl jesus piece on it is 35g so thats my round about preference

There's NOBODY doin it right now the way you're doin it, Braden. NOBODY. With that being said, where da 3mm WG flat curb chains at!!!
i’m torn between 20 inch vs 22 inch rope chain someone help me pls
It depends how many inches thick your neck is and maybe you’re height.
For me hight doesn’t matter like it does for some, my decision was based upon the kind of shirts i wear (mostly Polo shirts when i go out) the thickness of my neck which is 15 inches thick .
I just got a 5mm 20 inch Heavy link a couple weeks ago from Braden and it’s perfect. It shines and heavy with a casual thickness that still gets very much noticed. I didn’t want anything long like i use to wear when i was younger.
But the chain is so nice I’m ordering same chain same length but 3mm for every day don’t give fuck wear, and ordering my wife chain and pendant at the same time this week.
@@KashRulez77 I feel you. I have a 2 mm 20 inch rope rn but i’m looking to get a 4 mm. I like the length rn but It’s the only one I’ve ever tried
The 22 4mm will match well with the 2mm 20 if you are going to wear both at the same time.
@@TheTriedTruth Do you think the 2 mm would be too thin next to the 4 mm? I’m thinking I’ll probably get another chain in the future so idk if I want to layer 18/20 inches or 20/22 inches
2 to 4 mm is a big jump, might not work, mabye don't wear them at same time.
can you make an updated vid on the figaros
i hope you get 100k subs
You should do a review on jewelry stores like peoples jewelry, because once I baught and later returned a 3.5 ish mm 14k 20mm gold rope that was retail 1800$ 30% off ok. So I paid 1540$ lets say. No where in their store do they show weight anywhere on there gold, they are clueless when you bring it up to them. Like whats weight????? Anyway...... I got home and put it in my scale and it came out to .9 grams. What a dirty scam and that's peoples jewellers. " supposed to be the best quality " nope. Still a puru chain but light as a father and junk. Then I baught a 3.2mm off ebay 14k 20mm and it came out to 16.6 grams for 900$ that's way way better. Don't go to peoples lol. I'm going to you next for sure
