Thank you!! Been tearing my hair out for a day trying to get Magic Mouse 2 working on Windows 11 on a PC. Had the original magic mouse working with no issues, but Mouse 2 was not playing ball at all. It was connecting to Bluetooth but then the pointer wouldn't move for several minutes before eventually working. It wouldn't work after a reboot either. Followed along with the video and the mouse is now working fine, including after restarts. Life saver.

Also, when I hold the volume +/- buttons, it doesn't grow or decrease like on a Mac. And finally, the Open CD/DVD Tray button isn't working on the keyboard. Hi, glad it's working for you. For the design though, it used to be exactly how it looks on OSX but somehow Apple decided to remove that and I can't do anything about that. I totally agree with you that it was way cooler when it had the same visual as on OSX.

It worked! I gave this a try after my annual Magic Utilities license expired. At first, I was frustrated that I went through the suggested steps and nothing happened, but then I tried uninstalling the Magic Utilities app - that immediately solved the issue. I'm thrilled to find a third option between renewing an annual fee or buying a new mouse.

Update: anyone’s experiencing any issues with the lates Windows 10 update? If so any help would be appreciated. MK and MM both disconnect after a couple minutes of use and only gets resolved when I restart PC but then only lasts a few minutes again and repeats itself. Any help would be great!

Just listen and follow step by step and it will work. I've been looking for a solution all day and nothing worked for me. I kept getting sent to apple for drivers and no luck. Make sure after it is extracted that it's all together in one folder (even if you have to create a new one and copy them to it) so the bat files can interact.

worked perfectly, only one question. When you connect it to an apple device the keyboard last for a couple of months but when i connect it to my pc i have to change the batteries every 2 weeks or something?

The first time I tried it, it did not work because I had some apple files already in my laptop, then I uninstalled all apple files I had in my pc, then did everything again from the beginning and it worked :D!!! Thank u!!!!!!!
Hi ive tried it multiple times, followed all steps. it just doesn't seem to work for me. when clicking on install drivers, the process completes, but the new boot camp folder which is created is empty. what to do? tried multiple times already.
UPDATE: its working now, i was installng the 7 zip in my D drive like I generally do will all software, but its supposed to be installed in the C drive. after installing in C drive and restarting the pc. it all worked in one go. Not sure why this video hasn't got the most views, I haven't come across anything as seamless and foolproof as this. not only does it work but it does all the hardwork for you! I had lost the scroll function after restarting device but it came back after turning the mouse off and on.. hopefully it stay this way although I haven't restarted the device since to check Thanks again!
Hi, you can change the settings of the Top Row function keys by right clicking on BootCamp icon in the windows taskbar. To uninstall the driver, locate BootCamp.msi right click on it and choose uninstall.
Hi Farezi, you can install Windows10x64 Magic Trackpad driver by following this video and choose option “Install Magic Mouse + Magic Keyboard”. This enable support of Magic Trackpad on Windows10x64 too. Hope this helps.

You can pair the same mouse to both Windows 10 and OS X. It will work on one operating system at a time.

Hi Christian, you’re very welcome. After you’ve restarted your computer, can you scroll left and right? (Normal direction not natural scrolling direction)

And do you know a possibility so chance the scrolling directions (if I move my finger down, the page turns up and vice versa. The other way around I think is more intuitively. @@Christian8784 For multi-directional scrolling, try using the second option(Install both Magic Mouse + Magic keyboard). Follow the video at 3:10, this will give you full functions. Restart your computer once. Then, use the third option “Enable Natural scrolling direction” see 5:42. It will make Magic Mouse 2 scrolling work like how it is on the Mac. Please let me know how it goes.

Glad to hear that. I think you can swap that by changing BootCamp Driver settings. (it's been a while though, not 100% sure).

You’re welcome, Navneet. The Control key on Magic Keyboard will remain as regular control key after the installation. Hope this clarifies it for you.

Hi Farezi, you can install Windows10x64 Magic Trackpad driver by following this video and choose option “Install Magic Mouse + Magic Keyboard”. This enable support of Magic Trackpad on Windows10x64 too. Hope this helps.

thank you! everything works perfect! the only problem i faced is that i can not use mouse and keyboard on both mac and windows 10 (i use PC with windows 10 and use iMac as a monitor via target display mode. if i connect mouse or keyboard to mac then i can not connect it when i turn on the PC). don't you know how to solve this?
Hi, glad it’s working for you. Please like and sun thank you. For your question, are you talking about using the mouse on both operating systems simultaneously? Or one operating system at a time. You can pair the same mouse to both Windows 10 and OS X. It will work on one operating system at a time.

Hi Christian, you’re very welcome. After you’ve restarted your computer, can you scroll left and right? (Normal direction not natural scrolling direction)
@@mackooper-heyimcurious697 Hi Mac, unfortunately not, there is no reaction to left and right movements on my mouse (it is the magic mouse 2, by the way). And do you know a possibility so chance the scrolling directions (if I move my finger down, the page turns up and vice versa. The other way around I think is more intuitively. But this is just "nice to have"...
@@Christian8784 For multi-directional scrolling, try using the second option(Install both Magic Mouse + Magic keyboard). Follow the video at 3:10, this will give you full functions. Restart your computer once. Then, use the third option “Enable Natural scrolling direction” see 5:42. It will make Magic Mouse 2 scrolling work like how it is on the Mac. Please let me know how it goes.
