omfg. I can't tell you the number of times I heard "Want some Rye? 'Course ya do!" while playing this game. It's so ingrained, I'm still talking about it 20 years later.
I couldn't agree more...the last time I heard this was at a friends house more than 20 years ago...I only heard it that one day but it's stuck with me until I thought to look it up and this video led me here...fricken timeless!
I had the PC-CDROM version of this, and it DID have full motion video for this, but this is the MAC version, and even the dialog is very slightly altered also from the PC version...
I came to the comments to see if anyone else missed the "I'm too drive to drunk" line. Hadn't guessed they had different dialogue between the PC and Mac versions.
Was this like this in a certain version of the game, or did you use something like FlowFrames to fill in the missing frames or did you edit frame by frame or what?
I'm used to him saying, "I'm too drive to drunk."

I have also heard the last words in Mass Effect, I still have this game.

"Want some rye? Course ya do!" was an inside joke with me and a former roomie, ahh good times.

Dude I was looking for that one
This is the Mac version with full motion video throughout the entire game, but not the MPEG verison.
I was the technical producer on this, the producer ... Eddie Dombrower, came up with that line.
"Want some Rye??" Corse ya Do!!" .... Timeless!

Always wondered who it was that played that old drunk
I'm exactly the same way. Honestly, it's a bit of an in-joke for my friends and I.
whoa... the video is so much smoother than the version I've played. HOW?!
Wow...that's nostalgic...
I couldn't remember the name to this game all I could remember was "wasn't some rye, course you do" and get I am
1 5 1 proof, you blew the roof. (Die by lighting a match near Boos)
It's hammered into my head and I didn't even play the game, a dorm mate did.
How did you do it in full motion like that???
There was once a point where Mac was better for gaming
@@Mr_Meatbox As someone who had the PC version, it was also quite capable of doing full motion.
What system are you playing this on?
Mac version.
151 proof, you hit the roof. I can't believe I wasted my youth on this stupid game instead of Final Fantasy VII like all the other nerds.

Poor Boos sounds like he seen some serious shit. Thanks to us being that friend who gets a hurting friend drunk enough to release such trauma....
