They did say that at the start...but Jordan did an update in a video at one point saying that they were running out of stock of DCC, and they will fill the last few orders of them with DC, but "it will still be worth more than you paid". They eventually took the order item off their website, but I imagine several sets like mine got through before that point.
Hey, The 21 pin decoders are exactly that 21 pin. There are 22 pin slots on the board. There is a 1 pin at one side. the decoder needs to match that direction. The Lock sound decoders have the one pin indicated and there is no slot #22 to keep it simple for installation. I knew you had it upside-down right away. You should always see the writing on the decoder. Generally I have learned to stay away from Digitrax decoders, they fail too often but maybe they have gotten better. Try emergency stop to get shut-down, some of my Athearn Genesis models use that function. On the Digitrax decoder you will see a female micro plug in. That I do believe is to install a plug in Current Keeper. Digitrax, NCE and Lock-sound all have some type of CK, you should get 1!!! Hope that helps!! Cheers! 🍻 Earl 🦖
I also believe that you were assured to get one locomotive with DCC and sound. you might want to get a hold of Rapido.
