Thank you so much for making this tutorial. I've only been crocheting for maybe three days, and so many people don't explain their process well in tutorial videos. This was perfect.
I just made two of these this morning with scrap yarn. I love them so much! I have thick, short hair and they are the perfect headband for my hair. Thank you so much!
So glad you like them I think what I like the most is that they don't slide around when my hair was shorter I found whenever I tried to wear hair band they would slide out the back of my head. Hope they're working out great for you and thanks so much for being here.
Hello I hope you're safe over there? I hope this year brings happiness, prosperity, love ❤and peace all over the world🌏. I would love us to be good friends in honesty and in trust so as time goes on it will bring something great for us in the future, hope you don't mind? I'm Engineer Graham Bolt from Nashville Tennessee, where are you from?💙
I went and did the math, as long as the foundation chain is a multiple of 5 then add 3 it will work. This is 13 shell stitches on each side because 12×5=60 +3 is 63. The +3 chains is because we end on the 5hdc and then do a turning hdc and 5hdc on the other side all into the same stitch. In other words we have to end with a full 2shell stitches (or 11hdc) into the same chain stitch. Hope this helps others wanting to lengthen or shorten the strap!
So cute! I am preparing for a craft fair next month. These would make great little fill in items! I will add you to my "pattern credit sign that I keep on my table ☺️)
Fantastic LIsa! My friend Krys and constant companion behind this channel has made 50 for her show. That is very nice of you to add the credit as well. Would love to hear how you make out at the show - good luck!
Thank you so much for this clear and easy pattern ! This headband is a very cute and fast little present 🎁 Does not take much space in my luggage either ! Perfect for a small gift when going on a family visit 🧶🙏🏽🐙
For mine, I didn’t cut the end, I actually did sl sts back up to the headband and along the edges to the other end and did the chains from the other end and sl sts back to make the straps a bit more sturdy, it came out pretty good!
I love, love, love this pattern. I made a little alteration on the ties. Once I changed 45, I worked sl stiitches back down the chain. It make the string a little thicker. Thanks!
Thats great Jessie :). I have so many of these I think i will be giving many away - I have no idea but they look cute when they are all together - sounds weird i know LOL. Thanks for being here :)
That’s great! What I love about it is it doesn’t slide up the back of my head because of the cotton yarn it really grips win-win :-) thanks for letting me know you’re enjoying it
Oh my I’m in love with this ❤❤I’m really excited to get started on it my granddaughter is going to love them 😊thank you so very much for sharing your work with us all we really appreciate you 😊😊have a blessed day 😊😊😊
@@prettydarnadorable THANK YOU! I purchased your pattern from Etsy. I love it. So quick and so fun to crochet! I'm selling at a craft show on Sunday. I think these will be very popular (if I can get them to the market without my daughters stealing them from me :) )
@@missychase627 thank you Missy I really appreciate that! Lol maybe promise them leftovers ? Lol. The lady who helps me with all my patterns made 50 for her craft fair. I’m thinking I should do another design. I had no idea how much people would like these. I did this one 13 years ago and took it down about 10 years ago with the intention of updating it. I think I should have done it sooner 🤪
@@prettydarnadorable YES PLEASE Looking forward to seeing some of your patterns you will bring back. I am a fan of yours. I have purchased a few of your patterns and love them all
Idk if she has a video on that since it's supposed to be a one size fits all kind of thing. However I do know that you can chain less to start with to make it smaller or you could even make the ties in the back smaller, or make a loop with chains and add a button to the back

Do you have a video on how you'd make this for a baby??
Idk if she has a video on that since it's supposed to be a one size fits all kind of thing. However I do know that you can chain less to start with to make it smaller or you could even make the ties in the back smaller, or make a loop with chains and add a button to the back
Hope this makes sense

Chain 63
Work 5 half double crochets on the third stitch
Skip the newt two , slip stitch, skip one and repeatchain 11 on the last one
What do you mean chain 11 on the last one?
You want to make a chain of 11 so that it creates a tie - sorry i missed this comment!
