I was shocked seeing him weld without the tinted face shield. His eyes could be easily damaged by a spark and they have both exposed their cornea/iris to irreparable damage from that extremely bright welding light.

I'm impressed with the attention to detail. There's a single car lot here where I live that is a conglomerate of smaller dealers. They exclusively repair salvage vehicles. But none that I've seen to this level. The only thing that I rarely see is fading the paint to the adjacent panels. I know it's more work, but if you're this perfect with everything else...

Its more about the labor cost. In developed countries, car repair man would charge labor fee which usually totals the damaged car. On the other hand, skilled labor in China is cheaply underrated, and now you know why electronics factories succeeded in China.

Depend on how it is repaired. If you look at it closely ... he replaced all the sheet metal part of frame with new factory one... which are same parts used during factory assembly and welded the same way. Only different is one weld by robot and this one my human. As long as manufactured recommended spec are follow on construction fame.. you are good. This place seem like a Nissan body repair center. They only do Nissan and all parts are OEM.

From the responses you would think the original factory parts were made from vibranium, lol. Obviously they are replacing everything that was damaged with similar quality parts. If OEM can crumple in an accident so will anything else used 🤷🏾‍♂️
