The impossible is possible !
It causes a feeling of pride, admiration and gratitude to these people with golden hands !
Thank You dear CNA for Your unique , delightful and helpful video !
Well done Singapore. I've been an avid follower of aquaponics for years now and wondered when Singapore would take advantage of this exciting growing methodology.
first time in my life i ever heard the word 'Fish urine '
Usually people who are really into taking of fish would know this
BTW Goldfish urine are one of those that are toxic to other fish and themselves
Subarashii Desuka is that why they die so easily ...
@@havenprice if you don't have a proper filter or change the water when it's cloudy or brownish, then yes
Brilliant ! Keep up the good work, Singapore :)
I don't mind having one at our lift lobby on my level. It's super empty and big enough for this planting. We can even interact with neighbours more this way.
Good idea!
There should be a programme to do this on roof of HDB. In times of emergency, it is important to be self reliant
Sean sounds smart n useful
@@havenprice In Kampong days, people at least can grow sweet potato in the back. Now we are totally at the mercy of the commercial supply chain
They hv already started such a programme at HDB car parks in certain estates.
Singapore is the best
Makes me wonder.... how does aquaman go to the loo....
He poos in the loo
he is human.....not entirely fish
Good job sir...This is the part of every Singaporean citizen must do right now.Every country now is affected of pandemic even the AGRICULTURAL Field in South East Asia.Response to the future Food Shortage...GO GO..Singapore.The Urban agricultural area
Fertile soil is the most important factor in organic growing because of all its known and yet to be discovered benefits on the nutritional quality of crops. Hydroponic/Aqua growing removes the crucial soil factor and replaces it with soluble nutrient solutions that can in no way duplicate the complex benefits of soil. It's the TREND now.....so let's all just ride on it.
Amazing although why is he using a hose on a hydroponic setup? Defeats the entire automation and water efficiency purpose.
Vertical farming, Indoors.
We need to perfect it now so we can use it on the Moon and Mars. ...
We need to grow as much foid as possible in the smallest space possible.
how did you comment twice and screw it up both times?
Wow interesting! I didn't know the flowers are edible. Have been throwing away the flowers without realising it!
I thought this was an anime from the thumbnail
I seriously wish this kind of life..
Same here

Remember to try the flowers as they are edible. 😊

The US out of touch people said that China pollute the world, yet I can't find a recycle bin to dump my plastic recent years. China is heading to the right direction. I was motivate by the way the Chinese turn desert into Oasis and the fish/veggie farm around Chinese and their neighbors.
Waterdragon Clan just as a piece of information, if you are referring to it as a country Singapore is not part of China. It is an independent city state.
If you are referring to the race, Singapore is a multicultural country and I’m pretty sure the efforts are from a number of races :)
Remember Las Vegas is also a desert but it is a city now.
I’m a mint
These ideas all come from outside Singapore. Nothing original
At least, we try. Says who we can't use borrowed ideas with a land scarce Singapore that can't afford the space for farming?
just import all the resources you need from malaysia and indonesia. theres no need to perfect self sustenance.
If the hotel can bring fresher food items directly to their guests, then why not ?
@@jasonch50 alright.
Didnt you just hear, that it reduces carbon footprint ? To much land is being used for farming this is a great idea to reduce land use also.
What if malaysia and indonesia suddenly stops giving the resources?

I’m sure singaporeans can read politics and their relations with their neighbors. I’m not criticizing self sustenance.
