Thanks bro Hamisi . That proposal of making a company sounds so encouraging.we pray it starts soon .coz it's going to help us who are not at home yet interested in goat farming.
Hi Hamisi, Thank you so much for your valuable information, i have learnt a lot from your videos.i would like to start immediately,i have over 100 acres and lots of water but it is highly infested with ticks.Would you still recommend free range goat farming?
Hello sir. Am from Nigeria, have been follow up with you since I came across with you with your advice. Am not really a farmer but am a animal lover. I have about 30 sheep as of now i started with 2 Male and 2 female i started about four years ago. My questions for you sir, I don't know if we get those grasses in Nigeria or maybe they call them different name in Nigeria. MAIZE, GROSEGAYANA, LEGUMES, SILAGE if am right. My second question is that those BOAR goats can we get it in Nigeria? All any advice for me because I really want to do this farming as my full job. I have only have a plot for now but I knew I have to start from somewhere
Nigeria already has "Boer" goats with superior genetics available. Just do a little research locally and got will find a supplier to sell you some good goats
Bros there are Boer goats in Nigeria already and when crossed with red kalahari/SOKOTO red, they usually produce good results. If you search for Pilgrim Ranch of which Hon Dr Abraham Godson is the CEO, on Facebook sm sure you can get breeding stocks from him. You can also search for Odis Ranch with SIMEON Odis as the CEO on Facebook, he can also supply Boer goats for breeding. The only breed of don't have in Nigeria for now is the SAVANNAH breed which are the white goats shown in this video. God bless you sir
@@rahmanyunusa2235 I SUGGEST YOU DO SOME RESEARCH ON GOOGLE TO GET THE NAMES RIGHT. YOU CAN JUST SEARCH FOR *GOOD GRASSES FOR GOAT CONSUMPTION* ON GOOGLE, THAT WILL COME UP WITH THE GRASSES HAMISI IS TALKING ABOUT. WE HAVE NAPIA GRASS, ELEPHANT GRASS, DESMODIUM AND MANY MORE. HOWEVER, I REALLY CAN'T SAY IF WE HAVE ALL OR JUST FEW OF THESE GRASSES IN NIGERIA, I GUESS YOU CAN ONLY FIND OUT BY APPROACHING AGRO STORES IN YOUR AREA. ALSO, ABSENCE OF THESE GRASSES SHOULDN'T BE A DISCOURAGEMENT TO YOU STARTING YOUR GOAT FARMING SIMPLY BCUS YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN SILAGE BY PLANTING MAIZE, SORGHUM, MILLET SILAGE OR EVEN DO HYDROPONICS TO FEED THEM, BUT PLSSSSS MAKE SURE YOU SEARCH THE UA-cam FOR SOME VIDEOS ON THE MAKING OF SILAGE OR HYDROPONICS. REMEMBER ANYTHING WORTH DOING, WORTH DOING WELL. GOD BLESS YOU SIR.
Thks mr my grand left abig land in lwengo but my prob is starting capital so what am going to do is to buy like five then istart you wil give me aboar if iget time to come to sembabule on yr farm
Let me suggest some to all of you who a whinning about not having an acre. Since he said that goats need proteins, learn what HYDROPONICS is and you would never ever need a whole acre.

You're right sir. But have been trying to really get to this farming business but this business needs money. Sir. For your advice, what can I do to be successful with this business?

Exactly the lack of knowledge is holding so many people back. Hydroponic fodders practically eliminate the need for Acres.
