I've always been told and believed that a tag with an S meant it came from Ford's Sterling plant, and I haven't seen a Sterling axle without it, but it's not a hill I'd be willing to die on. If I find info that proves I'm wrong I'll edit the vid
Sucks when guys do that. You can still figure out the gear ratio without digging into it, but it is a bit more work than if you just have the tag to check

Unfortunatly, whoever changed the fluid previously on my 2009 didn't bother to put the tag back on.
