If you watch the first Gagavisions, you can see how much effort and work she put on to becoming a star. It's iconic how she created a record about the fame while chasing the fame and actually achieving the fame in the end. I love a hard working great quality visionary ahead of their time popstar
I love watching those early Gagavisions! It's great that she documented the beginning of her career and increasing pop popularity.

Love Game was ABSOLUTELY a sexual awakening for me - also I rewatched the Paparazzi vid for the first time in a while and uhm, it's a Masterpiece? The costumes alone are mind blowing. Mugler sweetheart? I died
Love Game invented bisexuality... yes. Paparazzi is the moment though. Like she was ahead of her time.
Additional facts:
- Starstruck was supposed to be the 2nd single, but the songs were reconsidered again once Just Dance was released.
- Boys Boys Boys was supposed to be the 5th and last single, but was scrapped by her record label to start up the Fame Monster era.
- She has been working on the album with Robin Fusari in 2007, and apparently more than 100-200 songs were recorded, most of them unknown.
There are a lot of them, but I chose to name a few

The excitement of hearing a new Gaga song come out on the radio in 2009 was so electrifying. I feel sorry for anyone who didn't get to experience that feeling. "Just Dance" is my favorite song off of that album - I still get a big smile when I hear the beginning come on the radio now, 11 years later, and I do the choreography. There's just something thrilling about hearing Gaga coming through the radio! 😎
that's cool! I'm 14 & I love Lady Gaga, & I wish I got to experience the start of her career, but it's okay I guess
@@rayanna7188 yes! She was definitely the "It" girl back in 2009-2010. I first saw her perform live in May 2009, and it was amazing. I'm glad she's still performing, but there was a magic to that Fame era that can never be recaptured.
Legend has it Spacebowboy and Lady Starlight are still waiting in a Budapest hotel room for gaga to come back from “the vending machine” (they’ve been there since 2010)

Paparazzi. I just don't get it. It has been YEARS and I still listen to it on a daily. Just think about it. Its like a transition. High pitched vocals with a bob cut and bangs. While all her other singles Just Dance, Poker Face, BDR, Eh Eh featured her iconic shoulder-length platinum/blonde locks with bangs at her eye level. Then just like that from September 2009 to October 2009 her bob got frizzy and humid and thus the Fame Mons𓋹er was born. I Can't. IdC. I love it. This is my favorite era. I wish I would have gone a couple of blocks down on my soon to be BFs bday when she was at the Ritz!!! Ugh where tf was I 😭💔

Mine too! I first saw Gaga in a smaller scale concert in Austin, Texas in May 2009, and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. No big special effects or wide scale choreography - just Gaga and her three male backing dancers - I don't think Space Cowboy was there, but I could be wrong. Intimate and amazing! When she sang the beginning of "Poker Face" and mentioned Texas, the crowd went crazy. Good, good times. "The Fame" forever! 😎⚡

I'm probably in this tiny tiny minority of her fans who prefer VMA 2011 performance to her VMA Paparazzi. The show she did there with a rock song, in drag, while all the other pop sweethearts in the public went beyond and above to match her style, she outdid them again. And took us all by surprise, showcasing her piano&voice capacities without overly campy staging flare like blood or white panties wore on faces.

Also why has she never performed Summerboy live?? And Im not talking Lalapaolloza lol because that's the only live performance that exsists but that includes Dirty Ice Cream and Blueberry Kisses. So why tease me Gaga 😭 Does anyone know who what when where why or how?
Ok long story short, those songs (Dirty Ice Cream and Blueberry Kisses) were songs bought back by Interscope from Island Def Jam that at one point were considered for the album.
Summerboy was one of the earliest post-Def Jam songs and amongst the earliest cuts made for the Fame! I think she just doesn’t like the song enough to perform it again or on tour back then.

Production in "Beautiful Dirt Rich" isn't bad just because you don't like the fact that it isn't an electropop song.
BDR is a big beat / trip hop song, it sounds very different from the rest of the song but it is a great song either way, I do agree it doesn't work as a single... That type of music just wasn't very popular in 2008-2009
Still her best album, in my opinion.
I think it’s one of her most rounded out, her other albums have better songs but also lower lows.

It was a promo/buzz single also used to promote a show on ABC at the time of its release. I don’t consider it a single-single because it never got the radio push and was swapped out for Poker Face.

Not really, that one was made under Def Jam (or Island?) and never actually was promoted. It’d be like considering AKA as Lana’s first era which it wasn’t.

It’s of the time, I felt like Flo Rida’s verse is good but dates it far worse than the other tracks are
