Bernie could neither consider a life without skiing, nor skiing without the freedom of skiing. Now a snowcat operator, his night shift allows him to solve the equation and to freeski every day, freely.
Good on Black Crows for finding a passionate and awesome rider to spotlight. Bernie is a better rider than some freeriding pros... it just goes to show that not everyone has the luck, connections, or timing to become professional. Kudos to the man for finding his niche and a way to live out the passion in his life!
