Blizzard is so awful and so good at this cross-game stuff. Bought Overwatch Origins Edition for the Winston pet and the skins. Then they start dangling 'you know...you like tracer, right? Well, you have her in Heroes of the Storm. It's right there. It's one click away. And you can always try out Mercy's Wings in Diablo III. It has a trial now. You can just give it a little go~'
I felt the same way about hearthstones as pat, easy to play, good system to obtain packs without using real money, hell I played it up til after the lich king expansion, but AFTER that, I just couldn't keep up with expansions, and the game got to the point that if you didn't play certain classes, you just lose immediately, and I was heavily against meta and always loved playing wild games, it just got too complicated
Woolie sounds genuinely sad at several points of this tangent.
eventually, pat stopped thinking.
Oh hey, this got alot of likes

Hearthstone is the only game that, even though I've stopped playing, I still follow it through videos, streams, and reddit every single day.
