The only complaint I have with this bag after a full year of use, rain or shine, is it needs to be re-dyed. The sun faded it pretty quick. Great bag….. I use it everyday for commuting.
@@IronBornRider yeah but it’s in the sun daily so it’s to be expected. I just need to get me some dye. Also, you got that top clipped wrong….. after you Velcro it roll it 1 or 2 times then clip the ends to the clasps on the side of the bag. It’ll keep the water out better. The way you have the 2 ends clipped to each other will pool water and run into the bag. Just a heads up.
Those are sweet Jason and you can never have too much carrying space. I remember having a tri glide with the big touring pack on the back I didn’t need to worry about keys wallet drone and everything! Just toss it in the compartment lol 😂 Very similar to the tbags I had on my dyna but I switched to saddlebags because I didn’t like the sissy bar
I've just about worn out my exfil 80, would you say this bag is a step up or a step down or just different. I really like exfil 80 and I can't believe I wore it out already but I've been real hard on it and it doesn't owe me anything. Edit: I think I'll save my old biltwell for weekend trips and I'm gonna get this one for everyday use. Those extra pockets for drinks, wallet, and cell phone are a very good edition. Way quicker access than opening the large compartment. I'll tell them you sent me.
I would assume biltwell has slightly nicer quality especially for those long trips, but if you can get the vikingbags for $100 or so with a discount code I think it’s worth it. I’m using it for my daily carry when I ride into the office and it’s been really easy to work with. Like you said, really simple and no frills, which sometimes is a benefit.
They also have a ton of other sissy bar bags within the same price point. It was hard to choose which one I wanted but ended up going with the renegade because I wanted that roll top
Great review on that Renegade sissy bar bag IBR. 😎👍 How would you say the room is with this one versus the Dagr sissy bar bag? I have the medium size one, and it’s done pretty well for me. I do like that this one you showed has a laptop sleeve, which definitely convenient for a trip to the office. 💻🏍👍
Thanks tet! I think you’ll have more room with the renegade but I’d have to check. I would say my renegade holds as much as my large dagr. It says online that it has a laptop sleeve but I’m still searching for it on my bag 😂
Looks perfect for my needs! Thanks for the vid. Viking bags pics and video's leave much to be desired.

That's good to know, shame that it faded.

@@coach20348 Thanks for the tip! I've clearly never used top roll bags before and ti shows lol
Given the price tag one could forgive it not having all the options of the Biltwell. Looks good on there and solid review.
Thanks Chop! I'm a fan when you find something that's priced right and still delivers a punch

I see the appeal of a bagger. Sometimes even putting the sissy bar bag strapped can be a little bit much. Thanks RHC!
Okay I see now you got your very own viking purse.
I can’t let you have all the purse glory

@@IronBornRider Thanks man I'll check those out!
@@IronBornRider I'm getting the Cafe racer tailbag! Perfect size for a daily use bag. Nice!
Great channel, keep up the good work!
Thanks Vikingbags! And thanks again for supporting the channel!
