Danial Zaini under the direction of Hayley (and a double barrelled shotgun) Stan is shunned off the farm. He then promptly moved into Greg’s house.

Danial Zaini well, Greg is not very happy for Stan moving in with him. Though Stan thinks he’s a great Father for getting Hayley tough. However things get out of hand when she terrorises the rest of the family so Stan and Roger get some varmits to destroy the farm. In the ensuing fight Hayley is lured into Stan’s man cave and faced with modern luxuries she reverts back to normal.

Stan being punished for his hypocrisy and selfishness, being shot at, or getting his ass kicked by Hayley before she reverted back to soft Hayley

Exactly. It’s always been crazy, so no one’s ever felt that out of character over the years. Unlike family guy, where everyone’s degraded and now I can’t stand any of the characters (especially Brian 😡)

@@MissDavids American Dad’s characters actually have personality and mesh well together, so more of their jokes feel earned/natural. Family guys characters just feel like lifeless husks for the writers to force jokes through.

Once upon a time in one of the earliest episodes, Stan did something similar with Steve and his friends, using the backyard as a ranch to man them up.
He ended up getting sick with mad cow disease and got a whole herd of cows infected in the end. Moral of the story, whenever Stan has an idea, RUN.
It reminds me of the Hurricane episode! He almost killed the whole family with his bad survival ideas 😂

Is it just me or has American Dad been very weird and avant-garde this season? Like, it feels like they’re using American Dad as ground zero for weird, creative concepts. This whole season has felt like a collection of Sundance short films.

Stan means well in this episode. While he is still secretly enjoying modern technology behind everyone’s back, he’s ultimately doing all this out of concern for Hayley.

I just realized that the last five Spider-Man movies haven’t had any spiders in them.
This season of American dad feels very similar to new era family guy. Soulless, lazy all it’s missing are the cutaways.
To me, American Dad is still quality. Family Guy has become progressively worse over the years and won't stop with those intrusive cutaways. It limits any variety in their jokes. AD is the complete opposite.
