RIP Bill Paxton and Powers Boothe! Two amazing actors, taken away too soon.
Great actor. God bless RIP Bill Paxton
It makes me really sad to know I'll never see a new Bill Paxton movie. "Game over, man, game over!!!"
RIP.
RIP Bill Paxton. I just saw this yesterday. I thought it was very well-made. Bill Paxton should have easily won an Emmy for this!
Terrific series with majestic actors.
Bill Paxton, we miss you so much!
One of the finest mini series ever.
☆☆☆☆☆
I live in Logan County West Virginia about 5 Miles from where Anse rests today. VERY proud of my heritage. These 2 acted these parts down to a T. from the way they acted, to the way they talked was amazing to watch this. My favorite series ever created. Love this Movie. Proud of my heritage and DAMN proud to be from Logan County West Virginia!!!!
Salute brother,,,and proud of mine also.👍
We really lost Bill Paxton too soon we're going to miss that guy.. He's a phenomenal actor I love Kevin Costner too.. It just sucks that bill didn't get to live a full long life he could have made some really good movies for us to watch... God bless him!
Abalutely love this movie.
One of the best miniseries ever.
Great actors
sadly... RIP Mr Bill Paxton... great actor...
Rip Bill!! We Really miss you man!! This movie was a masterpiece it was your best role. I watch bits and pieces of this movie everyday.. It's that good!!
I just watched this movie again love it great actors great movie, RIP BILL PAXTON
Brilliant film!!! I felt like I was there. You get a good insight into every character and it makes it hard to pick sides. Even the characters you want to hate like Jim Vance, you still empathize with him. I absolutely enjoy this piece of Art. I can watch it over and over again. Can't wait to see what these 2 great actors come out with next.
te llamas igual que una sobrina , no es muy comun ese nombre verdad? que estes bien, y esa pelicula es una de las mejores de estos dos actores
Bill paxton I'm so sorry sending all my love and prayers daddy paxton Rip❤
RIP Bill Paxton. Great actor. Gone too soon. Never imagined you leaving this year after the long list last year. Life is short people. Take care of yourselves, love each other and leave this place (earth) a bit better than you found it.
IRIDEHARLEYS 💯
Well said !
the first time i saw this movie ,,got addicted ..i love history...
Special chemistry here. They seem like soulmates.
These two men were a phenomenal cinematic team.
One of the great miniseries and Bill Paxton should have won Emmy that year.
RIP Bill Paxton. Brilliant actor, gone to young!
Two great actors 😍👍
I have the DVD of this. One of my favorites. Would love to one day visit where this all took place
I just seen this and omg whata movie the best any of them ever did!! Unreal Wow!!
Great movie...RIP Bill
Bill Paxton... I sobbed when I heard he'd died. He had so much left to give film wise and could have given so many more performances if we hadn't lost him so young. This is an absolutely beautiful production, and im so glad he gave us this before he passed, both he and Powers Booth. ❤
It was a beautiful shot to see pass. It’s always whatever he touches. You make us see the story and everything. This is why he is the legend Kevin costner 🥰🥰🥰.
Loved the film. Indeed a piece of art.
this was a great series
love this mini-series. I watch it at least once a year. A hidden treasure.
loved Hatfields & McCoys!!! R.I.P. Bill Paxton, we miss you
I watched the series 3 times because I couldn’t get enough of the great acting and the accuracy and details of it.( might some thing had to be adjusted to the screen but nevertheless great series)
This was one hell of a good film. Very good job gentlemen.
RIP Bill Baxton :(
Everyone is on their own path! Just love them and tell them about God ✝️❤️🙌🏼
Kevin costner what a great actor
RIP Bill...
Bill Paxton Hudson legend rip
I really like Bill Paxton. And Costner.
Field of dreams was amazing.
And now we’ve lost Ray Liotta 😢
This was a great mini series .
both humble men.
these two are REAL PRO!!
Bill Paxton was a great actor loved watching him. His movie with the tornado was suspenseful and so realistic glad he got Dorothy up! LOL, so cool.
Costner was great but I thought then Paxton caught the essence of McCoy you believed he was Randall McCoy.
I totally agree.
This was a great series!
I loved this mini series, best actors & actresses that made this story popular in 2000's.
Bill Paxton was great, RiP Bill, an Kevin Costner has never made a bad movie, all he does Great, So glad I bought the mini series DVD set!
R.I.P. Bill Paxton
Weird Science, Aliens, Twister, an Hattfields & McCoys, etc..
You live on in our hearts an your movies!
Amazing movie! Powers Boothe was especially good in the role of Wall Hatfield!
Master Jedi55 Rest in peace Powers Booth
@@mkhan2339 Absolutely! I’ll tell ya what, Boothe had all the goods, but his facial expressions and voice made you suspend disbelief, and think he was the character he was playing.
Só grandes atores como esses pra fazer um filme tão especial. Kevin Costner foi o rei dessa série. Quem assistiu numca mais esqueceu. Maravilhoso. 👍
4:39 “Way to go bucket mouth” 😂
As a Hatfield I think they picked the right cast to demonstrate what happend
You should do a movie on the dust bowl where families were poor desparate and resilient and resourceful with basically nothing.
I was born in Kentucky but lived in west va.
These guys could have worked together before. The real Jim Lovell originally wanted Costner to play him in Apollo 13, Paxton played Fred Haise.
minitzonthesun agree ! but Tom Hanks did a great job too
I like Costner, but can't imagine Apollo 13 without Hanks, he did a fantastic job.
Muito boa essa série
Si
film çok güzel süper
Okey Okey Brilliant film family McCoys & Hetfildes in West Virginia yes favorit série.
Good film
great film
Biggest mistake in this series was the omission of one of the most important but non-feuding characters; one Anderson "Preacher Anse" Hatfield. That name was meant to be seen in contrast to Preacher Anse's relative, Anderson "Devil Anse" Hatfield. Unlike every other character in the feud, Preacher Anse could go wherever he chose, and was trusted by both sides in the feud. He spent his time trying to end the violence that broke out between the two families. In the trial that was to decide who owned the hog that both a Hatfield and McCoy claimed, only one man was trusted enough by both sides to preside, and that was Preacher Anse. I can promise you one thing; no McCoy would ever have gone through with a trial where Devil Anse's uncle, Bad Jim Vance was the presiding officer. Bad Jim was his nephew's strongest ally, and had nothing but hatred for the McCoys. Also remember that another character-Bad Frank Phillips, a Pike Co., KY deputy-went after the Hatfields in WV after the raid on Randolph McCoy's house. He managed to bring back everyone involved with the exception of Crazy Jim Vance. Vance chose to stand and fight it ought when Bad Frank Phillips caught up with him, and as is often noted, when two crazy, bad men meet up, only only will come out alive, and it wasn't Devil Anse's uncle.
Dnt knw whos responsible for putn these actors together but they need be recognized because they couldnt have found better bunch of actors ever ....i thnk its best movie ive ever had privilege to watch they all done an amazing job doin there part ....jst amazing
These two could be brothers
We had our battles as well.WV Whites

RIP Bill
Kevin ive not seen this film but has 2 of m
My favorite Actors. I JUST HATE THAT BILL PAXTOM PASSED AWAY HE WAS SUCH a young man. God Ret5
Paxton looks like younger Costner.
Oh no, I completely forgot Paxton passed
Mrs. Jimmy Two Times Powers Booth also
Ole Randall McCoy was closest to the one being in the right. Poor man didnt deserve some of the things that happened to him
Alien got him.
Predator got him.
Terminator got him.
Life got him.
Interestingly, when they cock the gun I don't hear a shell go into the chamber which, I'm sure is for safety sake but, it does distract from reality of the situation. I didn't know we lost Bill Paxton, he was an excellent actor may he rest in God's peace. Many citizens in America are descendants of these famous families, myself included. It's a sad situation when men can't resolve their problems to be good family, good neighbors and all lit takes is a little kindness.
@Kevin Costner I don't mind at all, it is a kind pleasure to hear from you thank you so very much for your response. :)
@Kevin Costner I am from all over, from the pioneer regions of the East Coast to Texas, one relative died at the Alamo while the others settled for life in TX and surrounding areas. I love genealogy, finding connections to my roots as many went on to settle in the West. How about you?
@Kevin Costner My name is Cheryl Johnson, I am from Oklahoma that is north of Texas and love both states. My dad's people nestled into TX to wait until the territory opened up for Oklahoma to homestead but many stayed in Texas. Where are you from?
@Kevin Costner Sure, I'd love to.
Did any member of the Hatfield ever marry a McCoy or vice versa?
Another sad but true story happened in this area of WV & Kentucky smh big pharma plowed through these small towns leaving a trail of body's and broken families smh
my last name is McCoy
Oh god I wish Bill Paxton didn't die. Fuck....
Bill woulda made a great Director
If this was close to a true story the conclusion I reached was that Randall Mccoy was a coward,no way I would have sat back and let the Hatfields murder my kids,I would have died trying to get them back..
Randall wasn't a coward, he had to flee his home when it was burned on 1-1-88 and within a few weeks the Hatfields believed responsible were rounded up and imprisoned. That's essentially when the feud ended. Both men were ready to put a stop to it and move on with their lives. Neither men were cowards OR heroes, they were regular human beings with regular complex human behavior.
Acting was fine but the script must have been written by four year olds. It was really lousy
This was a very good movie.
The McCoy`s religious crap caused his downfall.....
