In New England the only time we pay tax on food is if you're buying cooked food. If you go to the fresh seafood section at the supermarket and buy live lobsters, they are not taxed. If they steam them for you, you pay a tax on them at the checkout. As for refrigerated eggs, I take them out of a fridge at the store, so I put them in the fridge when I get home. :-)
That’s interesting, we didn’t know that about New England! That is how I’ve always bought eggs as well but here they don’t come refrigerated so I was totally surprised at first.
We have Aldi in all major Texas big cities. Its actually pretty popular with the Vegan Eco warriors & Euros that live in these cities because u can actually buy European brands of food.
@@charlievetta1385 well you can have them all!! I don’t like them!! When I was stationed in Germany, one of my coworkers ate them all the time along with picked onions.

We have ALDI here in Georgia USA and Captain Crunch’s Peanut Butter Crunch cereal in the shape of a small ball!!
Love captain crunch! You would probably like Erdnuss Flips because they are similar, but much bigger and a more salty taste 😄
Trader Joe´s is also ALDI (Nord)
