So true. I am married to a German and he is the Best Husband and Father to our little Girl. At first our cultural difference was an interesting navigation. I am Irish. German men in my own personal experience are fiercely Loyal, and it is the little thoughtful things like making your favourite coffee not big gestures.

Next time you should see The Fremont Street Experience in downtown Vegas. For 4 blocks it's even brighter than the Strip, so go at night only. The drinks and the gambling is cheaper in the many casinos on Fremont. You can take the Strip bus down there or a cab.

FYI, fajitas are not typically served in mexican restaurants in Mexico, as they are considered texmex, same goes for burritos, chimichangas and other Americanized and made up dishes...like texans with their queso, which is basically melted cheese.

I think it's pretty disingenuous to compare public transit between the US and Germany. Germany is much smaller and more densely populated so it makes more economic sense for the country to invest in public transit whereas the US has plenty of rural areas with low population density. Having a rail system in those places wouldn't make much sense. A more fair comparison would be to compare the US to a country roughly around its size like Canada, China, Australia, or India.

YES!!! THANK YOU for pointing out something I HATE, nobody talks about. Distance when driving! There are alot of selfish a@@holes here! They don't care about anyone or anything but themselves! They act like they have never heard about the rule of keeping distance between the car in front of you and behind you. They will merge into your lane even when they are a few feet in front of you! They have no respect for others! If there is even a little bit of space, they feel like they need to fill the gap. As Professor Lupin said, "Repeat after me. Rediculous!" This is one of MANY reasons why I tell people, especially tourists, to take Public Transportation if possible! Every city has their own form of public transportation, plus we have Amtrak, planes, and Greyhound busses to take you to other cities. If you can, always take Passenger Rail instead of a bus or plane!!! Trains are faster than any other form of transit, nicer, cheaper, and most have excelent views! Only use Uber, Lyft, or drive when you really have to.
