Every once in awhile, I check back on this to see if there's news of a release (or even if somebody's recording of it was found). I'm disappointed every time. This is by far the holy grail of lost media for me.
Oh god! I saw this back when I was about 11 and it was on KQED in San Francisco. I have searched for it ever since. Because of the series, A Little Princess has become a lifelong favorite book too, and I still remember the pretty theme that sounded like a victorian music box. Oh please let someone have this so that I may see it again. It is as much fun to see this at 60 as it was back in the day.

I really love “The Little Princess” and I have wanted to see the adaptation with Deborah Makepeace.
Not a hint of The Chinese Puzzle on YT. I hope it wasn't wiped.
