I’m a social 2 and my resentment or my fierce 8 comes out when employees push me from being kind and loving into the disciplinarian. My mantra is often “why can’t people just do what they are supposed to” or “why can’t everyone just behave.” 😂 I’m slowly becoming more direct about a policy being broken and not accommodating them and being angry that I’m taking my time to fix something for them. Put the responsibility back on them. Practicing being ok with people being mad at me and/or not liking me.

I feel exactly like you are explaining. If i am not helping and being involved in others lives then i am not going to be wanted or loved. I don’t really like me so I think why would anyone else really like me if I’m not necessary 37:35
I am a Christian and I can accept grace but I do struggle with feeling truly loved for who I am. A beloved child of God.

For me, pride has to do with the unwillingness to admit one's faults. That's why i think it's one of the worst obstacles to advance in consciousness. Pride prevents being humble and closes the door of learning and growing.

Yes ESFJ are often Enneagram 2s they can be very prideful and entitled. Or will do things for attention for relationships which are weird

I might be a somewhat healthy 2, or at least at times I feel like I'm there. I have in the past not been there, so I know the difference. Tons of self care, faith, trusting life and checking in when I am 2ing... Are you enjoying this give? I do want more 2ness towards me, not sure if asking is that fun for us. I do it, but still prefer people reciprocate, but it no longer angers me when they don't.
It's great to hear you're finding that balance and embracing your journey! Self-care and being aware of your feelings are so important. Keep checking in with yourself!
