On one side: If a player makes a warforged that’s a drubarian that is peaceloving but goes into a rage when he sees nature being torn, I want the meme to be the following.
      Drubarian: *sees evil fortress*
Evil fortress: *made by destroying the local Flora*
      Drubarian: ...
Rest of the party: so first we sneak in an- where’s drubarian?
Some god of vengeance, to the other gods: I know he’s not a paladin, but I really need you to do me a solid and bend the rules of who can take oaths this time.

I loved the story, i love the thought of a golem eternally sitting in one spot, enjoying his garden, hundreds of thousands of years go by, the golem has faded into an old tale, then one man stumbles across the golem in the forest, everybody comes to see, they dont harm the garden, the garden has grown far bigger now, the evergrow having spread its seeds, and the garden has several evergrows around it, with beautiful flowers everywhere, a perfect garden and a golem forever watching it until the end of the world.

Two years ago, I lost my first kitten a few days before she turned 1. I loved that animal with all my heart, so I buried her in my garden. A few months after, mint started growing over her grave, it's now a small bush. But winter is here, and the cold is bound to kill it, so I transplanted a few sprouts to keep with me, until more mint grows back in spring.
I also tried to save a stray that was ran over a few months back. As soon as I saw him being run over, I stopped my truck, rushed through traffic and threw myself over it. Then when it was safe, I put it in my truck and rushed to an emergency vet... He was dead when we arrived. I figured he never had a home and since I could no longer give him one in life, I could at least give his body a nice place to rest. So, he's also part of my garden now, he will always have a home here. I just hope, in time, something nice will also grow over his grave.

I foster kittens, haven’t in a while though (you’ll see why). Our first foster litter of kittens with a mama kitty was about two years ago, I think there were five kittens, and of the mom. There was a black kitten, the only black one, named Cygnus. All of the kittens were named after stars, I don’t remember the other names as clearly though as Cygnus’ name. We got them when the kittens were two weeks old, so very young and havent developed personalities yet. Over time Cygnus was the quiet, chill one- and all he wanted to do was sit or be in a lap. He never played, which I now realize was a big red sign. When they were about a month old, he just.. wasn’t himself. Only sat or laid down, and his poop was abnormal and liquid (not even brown- it was a white color). We finally took him in and was told he was sick (I don’t remember what exactly, or if they *did* say he was sick, I just don’t remember). We gave him medicine for about a couple days before he died. I was the one who found him dead, and the last one to see him alive. I think he was just a bad kitten- I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way of course, but sometimes kittens (and babies and baby animals) just die.. it’s a sad thing you have to accept when taking care of kittens. He’s buried in our yard, and I know plant life is over him.
Also, the last time I fostered kittens (and why I haven’t fostered in a bit, besides being busy) was because I lost all of the foster kittens I was taking care of. In May this year, my mom and I took three ONE DAY OLD kittens (with no mama kitty). Since my mom was very busy, I was the sole caretaker for them. Fed them at the right times, slept outside of my room so I could sleep next to them so I’d be more alert, and gave them warmth. The next day, one of them wasn’t okay. It’s a hard thing to describe, but I could just *feel* her dying in my hand. When my mom took her to the emergency vet clinic, she was already dead. Later that day, around evening, another kitten died. Like, I was sitting next to them, didn’t know she passed, and when I look over to check she was just gone. I can’t tell you how much emotion I was going through, and I have such a soft spot for cats, so I was just an emotional wreck through the first kitten and second kitten. The second kitten for me was worse, since the first one was a slow death, yet this one was so quick I didn’t have time to process. At that point- there was only one kitten left. So that night (keep in mind, when you bottle feed kittens, you feed them every 2-3 hours, so I woke up every couple hours), I was very cautious and just loving on her. I was so scared to lose her. I fed her about 5:30 am, and tucked her back into the box we had for them, and fell asleep. When I woke up at 7 ish, just naturally without my alarm clock so idk if I sensed it, but when I checked her, she was gone. I didn’t cry as much like for the other two kittens, but I felt the same pain in my chest (probably had no tears left lol). So within not even two days of having these day old kittens, I lost all three. I was already dealing with a UA-camr’s death (rip Steve Cash) who I loved, and my own cooping with quarantine, so this was just not a good experience. At the same time, I’m very glad I took care of them, because within that short time my mom and I gave attention and love to the kittens before they passed. We didn’t bury them out in the yard like Cygnus, because we had to take the bodies to the clinic (don’t remember why). Haven’t fostered since, but still have it planned in the future one day.
Didn’t mean for these to be long- but this is kind of therapy for me xD especially for the three kittens who passed so soon after getting them. I’m good now of course, but still grieve at times.

@@mickeynomouse8251 yes. It was a home brew game, and this was a side quest. This rich, eccentric old man hired my friends team to go retrieve this rare plant to help heal his granddaughter (only family he had left). So they get to the garden that had the plant in it was a golem who was made to tend and guard the garden. It led my friends team to the plant. They had to stay there for a while due to extreme weather, and the team started to bond the golem. Then religions nut jobs showed up. Fighting soon broke out. Long story short a butterfly flew into the garden then the cultists started trying to kill it. The golem got between it and them. The team won and barrier the golem. This story, for some reason, didn’t make me cry, as I knew the outcome the moment the child came back over and over. It’s the cycle of life and we must accept that we’re not going to be here forever. Sadly, our golem buddy will never truly pass on and be with it’s friend. Guess that’s why everyone’s all down now. It’s ok, he’s a family friend of the girl, and will be there for her family for generations to come.

A song/lullaby for life or DnD, yours to change or alter, if only by my name you will recall for as long as you'd like.
    (~M.C. Billy; Billy M. Lockwood. 2020)

A bed of flowers, planted oh so long ago, in a time before my own.
An earthen golem, forgetting time, idly watching all the while.
An endless cycle, forever and always, the Summer ends, and life begins.
Time of sorrow and rain, the Fall is warm, ripe with age.
The time of ends lasts long, the Winter is cold, the time of death, but high hopes.
The time of birth, life is anew, the Spring is chill and crisp, silently starts again.
And still the earthen golem sits, waiting for the end, it watches and waits, waits for everything- as it too will expire eventually.

You see, life isn't just about life and death, but about the things you do- the people you meet, and the places you go, and to enjoy those such things is a pleasure we get once.
As we grow, so too does time, it is forever, and it is never, hand-in-hand.
The earthen golem nods with us as we breathe, and nods with us when we sleep. The earthen golem nods with us when we weep, and nods with us when we leave.

We are all part of the earthen golem and it's garden.
