Solitude Fun Fact of the Day: The wood of the Solitude acacia is by many considered as the best material to built ukuleles. This acacia is dependent on the Solitude cassowary for the dispersal of its seed. After millions of years of codependent evolution the acacia seeds can no longer flower without passing the colon of the bird first. Famous Solitude ukulelist Samson "SoSo" Sortman fought as a soldier in WW2 in the pacific theatre as the plane he was on was shot down. He was rescued after floating on open sea for three nights and two days. He used his ukulele made from Solitude acacia as a buoy and th fight of sharks four times. This ukulele is now on display at the governors palace and has still two shark teeth sticking in it.
Oh and you HAVE to make a Richard Branson-type, tiny private Island with an ostentatious mcmansion, private helicopter-pad, yacht...the works. Perhaps the Thornberries happen to run into "Brandon Richards". He owns Fewlitude Records and is thinking of starting his own airline. Very down to earth; he only has ONE private island. Just a regular guy...
Hey roddo. Would you like to write the Solitude Fun Fact about that mansion island for todays new video? Or should I do that and keep spinning on on your suggestions?
It seems like today's detailing was more about making the industry camouflage into the hillside. With the exception of the furniture factory there were no massive industrial buildings. Not a single smoke stack in sight. Yet, the whole build is still a fully functional industrial forestry area. It's super impressive to see the build satisfy the industrial needs of the city while maintaining the Solitude vibe. Well done Few.
Absolutely agree with the choice of using these block services, especially for the forestry worker barracks. Maybe the stilt-houses would've made for a bit more forestry or make-shift vibes? Anyway, the aea looks great, especially with the processing in the middle of the forest itself and of course the Woodvision factory is indeed the crown jewel of the build 🤩.
What a wonderful Forestry area which fits so perfectly into the natural environment. Loved the cinematics at the end reminding me of all your ingenious builds such as the slums and the water park.
Very clever use of block assets. Also you are a master at working with tricky terrain. LOVE the names of the resort and island. Fewa Fewa cracks me up!
Love how natural the forest industry looks, like it has just carved out those plots in the middle of the forest. And using the block services really helps add some uniqueness instead of using the same DLC buildings as always. Great build!
It's nice that you have continued with CS1. There is so much more design capability with it and you've taken it to perfection and have done so much detail in your builds. Great job!! Keep it up!!
You are right not to include palm trees. Palm wood is too soft for most building needs. Some would be fine for decorate building and artwork. It looks wonderful...and nice hiding place for the cougars and other native fauna. With that a name for it could be "Cougar Mills".
I like the name that OverCharge came up with Fewa Fewa i can represent the island of Fewa Fewa the island next to it can be called Canda Canda just a thought.
I'm just glad you're still putting out CS1 content, because I do not like watching CS2. It looks so dreary to me (different tastes and all, but man, the defaults in CS2 so does not work for me). Whereas Solutide is actually a place I'd love to go for a vacation. And so I love spending time watching your great builds. Thank you.
@@fewcandycontrary to popular belief; the solitudinese panther is not a panther or a feline. It's actually a marsupial who. The ancestors of the panther were wombat like creatures. Like the fossa of Madagascar, one group diverged and filles a unique niche in Solitudenese ecology as its apex predator. Convergent evolution caused the marsupial to develop characteristics, similar to felines of the Old World. The only major difference is its rigid spine. Which gives the feline looking marsupial a surprisingly equine gait
why cheat the budget when you can always build the magical Stock Exchange errm, the Budget Buyback building? I'm just tuning in to the series so I guess that hasn't been a part of the county thus far... fantastic detailing, I got to learn a thing or two - thanks!
Sadly, there is a large forestry industry using palms, so you could have gone that route. It is a bit controversial though, with a lot of deforestation and so on.

Sounds like the right sawmill to order from if you just have a small project to do 🙂
@@gorgonzola86 Yep
Love that! Thank you!
That is not a cougar. That's the Solitudenese panther. Unique to the islands.
OMG yes!!

Where would we be without service blocks for that log yard!

Ahh yes of course, good point! Solitude is definitely not a part of that though!
