I recently moved to modded as well but I am having issues with one mod in particular, the Hook UI needed for a lot of them is not working for me, its not matched with the updated game sadly

Great creator trying to make a bland game sparkle. Like many I’ll continue to stick with CS1. I feel for all the great creators trying to slog ahead with this not ready for prime time game. I wish you luck but I will rewatch CS1 content you have created as your talents are on full display there. Best wishes going forward.
I’m still making new CS1 content, never stopped! 😄 I’d also say I’m not ‘trying to slog ahead with it’ if I didn’t have some element of enjoyment in the game I wouldn’t do it, it’s definitely no CS1 for sure, but its not all bad!

It's the correct decision. I follow creators like yourself for the detailing. I still very much prefer the CS1 content.
For now at least, we've seen all CS2 has to offer and it's beginning to stifle your creativeness.
For sure the correct decision and I anticipate your next CS2 video with renewed excitement.
I gave up on watching CS2 creators for the most part. The game just doesn't click for me at this point and with all the assets being the same, everyone's build "feels the same" in a sense.
@@chrisbeveridge6891 Same. On paper CS2 has a lot of things going for it, but it doesn't have that "texture" to it that makes CS1 builds interesting.
I agree. I just can't do CS2 anymore. I'm going back to CS1. I LOVE that game so much and CS2 has just been a big bummer.

I remember seeing the first ep of Auridon and just blown away at the detailing. You can tell its a passion, and its kind of sad to not see you do it in CS2. I hope you just go balistic with the mods and detail the heck out of the city. Dont want to speak for everyone but i love watching you detail. Sad reality that the base game doesnt deliver.
Because they are withholding those 2500 assets packs and modding the game has lost all momentum. If you look at player numbers you are way better off with CS1 content. Looks better and thousands of more options to create unique cities. CitiesByDiana is also throwing in the towel for CS2 content.
I'm not throwing in the towel at all, I think both games offer a different perspective honestly which is why my CS1 series have continued, and will continue from this point too!

I stopped playing the game and not going to play again until they release the paradox mods system.
Unfortunately the lack of assets, props, and the delay of the DLCs they promised us with the Ultimate Edition make feel the game as non complete and unfinished.
(And I HATE the zoning in CS2, I can’t, I can’t anymore 😂)

Hmh, I just saw a CPP CSII video (or at least part of it), which used mods and claimed, it would change my opinion on CSII. It didn´t, the game still looked ugly and hardly supported any creativity. But I´m curious, what you will be able to achieve with mods and I am going to watch the next episode (instead of just clicking through, to see what the title is about).
Its a pity, that they still did not manage at least to add enough detailing options to be at even ground with CSI vanilla without DLCs. I wouldn´t care, if the new game did not grab so much attention, that youtubers are practically forced to swich at least partly.
It’s a shame this game is the way it is, iv lost all interest in CS , I can’t afford a 3000$ comp and this will never come to console, I watch you guys but can’t play anymore very upsetting, when games come out like this and need prob a year or two it lost me
The performance is vastly improved now, for smaller cities at least!

YES always mods, its simply better. always has been.
the multi color tram is a bug, if you dont have the game paused at the time of route creation. the game will start creating tram cars in the original color and will add additional cars in the new color and wont fully update

Mods + Dev Mode is honestly a game changer. I personally went from having no desire to play the vanilla game to really enjoying it. I'm surprised you lasted as long as you did! I look forward to seeing what you build though... so many more things you can do now 😄

Hi FewCandy. Full disclosure, I found you through cross-over videos you did with OverchargedEgg. You have a very similar detailing approach, so I can understand your frustration with current CS2. Mods will help a lot I'm sure.
That titled killed me. Is CS over for FC? Is it 2 or 1 or both. I was like on nooo...Then watching... im like OMG you got me😅. But i fully get it. You really can only go so far in vanilla CS2 w the lack of assets and missing of certain QOL tools.
You know I didn't watch this video when you dropped it because I thought you were abandoning this series. Then the latest video dropped on my feed and I thought this video was about something else. Glad you are moving to a modded build. I'm not a huge fan of vanilla builds whichever version of CS it is. 😂

Like the series but I could not agree more that not being able to have the flexibility as we did in CS1 is a deal breaker for me (and why i still have not purchased the game). I have no problems holding out until they get the game in a more complete standing and it is worth the money they ask.

2 shouldn’t have been released until 2025.
The main reason I haven't stepped into the world of CS2 mods [yet] is compatibility. I'm almost certain that once official paradox mods drop in, we will need to recreate our cities from scratch. I'm just not excited about that. And yes, I've recently come to the conclusion that CS2 isn't really playable (beyond a few exploratory days) without custom assets and mods. My main city in CS2 just reached 350k population, and the simulation started to struggle to a point where the game was no longer playable, and so I decided to DITCH the entire game and just go back to my beloved 700k city in CS1 -- at least for now. Waiting breaks my nerves, so I'm just gonna look the other way for a few months. I'm coming back, but only when mod support and a decent workshop have settled in properly in CS2. See you guys in a few months!
Yes I’m taking the risk of the city breaking and losing it at any point, but it’s a risk worth taking for me now to make the game more interesting! I also wouldn’t be surprised if modders don’t continue to support the lines of thunderstore even after the release of pdx mods, so all may not be lost!

I don´t think the idea with CS II was to present a complete and all to the end well designed application.
The possibility to use MODS is definitely a way to make CSII (and CSI) to a more realistic tool to enjoy us all.

The Police headquarters can actually be upgraded to holding more criminal's, same as the big hospital, the big garage parking lots etc etc. The prison would be cool out in the country since most prison's are kept in the country. Oshkosh Correctional facility in Wisconsin is the biggest prison sitting off the highway, but you can see it. Biffa, overegg? I honestly watched them and yourself is completely doing a great job!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I was saying it months ago... you're just smashing your head into a brick wall by saying no dev mode, no mods, whether Colossal Order calls them "official" or not. Around 60% of the complaints I've been hearing voiced in this series were already answered by mods in November or dev mode at release.
I wish you'd ditch Cities 2. It's so boring and mono-tone.
I’ve not stopped creating Cities 1 content, so just watch that instead if this isn’t your bag! There’s still people enjoying CS2 even with all its flaws, but regardless I’m going to continue making the content I want to make and enjoy doing 😌
