In clothing profit margin is just 2%, while govt tax is 5%, while for export you need chargeback 5%, govt give you this tax back after 1 year, so business borrow money from loan shark or bank at 18 to 24%. That's how Surat to Mumbai gone bust. Modi, gst and penalty is the reason.

I don't know if indians will take this video seriously or not because as you indirectly said that politicians and some of the people just look after their benefits but people in Bangladesh watch these videos while eating their food they take lessons from this videos so yeah Your video can make Bangladesh have more growth. Nation wise we are slightly different but people in Bangladesh seeks development thats for sure. Recently electricity issue was on trend in Bangladesh but guess what it remained that way for a week or two. So Bangladeshi people know what to do and what to not. Every coin has two sides so I am not saying Bangladesh is the best all the people are good honest and thinks for betterment but yes there are some who really want the country to develop and it is growing day by day for them.

There are many factors indians have to understand:
    1. Bangladesh only achieved its independence in 1971, where as india achieved its independence in 1947, 24 years head start.
    2. Bangladesh was ruled by West Pakistan until 1971 and 70% of the earnings from exports from East Pakistan (Bangladesh) was spent on Islamabad and West Pakistan. This and the language issue was the reason for the civil war.
    3. When the Pakistanis were kicked out Bangladesh was devastated, 3 million of the educated / brightest were killed in operation Searchlight and EVERY industry was destroyed nothing standing, then the following year a further 1 million were killed in the worst cyclone in South Asia. Then 2 decades were lost due to coups and military rule.
    4. Bangladesh only started to grow when economic liberalisation began in the early 2000's, so in reality we've only been developing for about 20 odd years.
    5. Bangladesh is now massively investing in infra, bridges, nuclear power, deep sea ports, rail network, roads, airports, gas and coal power, etc etc The number of mega projects is astounding in such a short time.
Bangladesh focused on the RMG industry initially so as to give the majority of the population a way out of poverty, its a bottom up economic development process. Next industrial sector we will focus on is the leather/synthetic goods market which is bigger then the RMG market, then the focus will shift to the white goods market and pharma followed by the ICT and electronics market. Its a structured process followed by most of South East Asia (Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea etc).

Wow! you will surpass chung for sure.... as if we need to learn all these things... you would have been finished had Indira Gandhi not intervened...Due to you, we made bitter enemies with pakistan, and till date we are being bothered by their terror machines... you forget each time that we fought the battle of longewala with a heavyly armed pakistani side, with only 120 men under Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri (see the border movie, it is free on youtube and understand our sacrifices on account of BD creation). Then started the Kashmir issue and then we had terror attacks all over the nation... remember the 26/11 mumbai attacks? Also remember that you are lucky to be insulated on 2 sides by a friendly nation who absorbs shocks frm a giant enemy, which would mean you would be drained of resources in trying to defend. Now coming to our policies... we have a very long term vision. Read the book India 2020 by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. We are now exporting defence equipment. Machineries are being exported since ages. IT , software services export have been the highest and we have a solid manufacturing base... when I was a kid, since then I have seen automated manufacturing plants which have automation equipment manufactured by us... So we dont have much to learn from you. Lets be humble and accept what is good about others. Your nation is great. Ours is also vast and with greatness everywhere.. our institutions figure in top 100s..... we have 10 nobel laureates of Indian origin and many are Indian citizens. The secret of success is research.. that is how china is growing and crossing barriers. We too are having a strategy but our leaders need to put even more focus on education and make our institutions count in the top 10 and not 100. Hope you understood.... Lets be respectful to each other ... asha kori apni buztepartesen...

But also remember that majority od Bangladeshi textile industry buy indian raw cotton which for them is cheap because of less logistics and reliefs india has given to Bangladesh. I think Bangladesh couldn't grow in other sectors.Loved to see our neighbours grow.

Once I was very interested about starting a cloth manufacturing business but i must say it is way to difficult to start manufacturing here in India....
There are very less people who can give technical support in this industry, there is huge investment involved for even starting a small scale unit, there is no organised supply chain which will ultimately increase the cost, very poor logistics, very less skilled labour in the market and if someone deals with all this problems the biggest challenge will be to sell it at profitable margin because market is flooded with cheap chinese products.... Textile trading is way more profitable in India compared to manufacturing

😃Every point that you have mentioned is correct. But another main problem is that our government is not focusing on traditional Indian clothes. The government is just simply interested in striking a deal with any of the abroad companies who is just ready to give them sufficient money. The difference between Bangladesh and India is that Bangladesh gives importance to its local industries and tries to improve them by selling their products to big textile companies but that is lacking in India. One best example I would like to site is we all know about Sambalpuri Textile of Odisha. It has all range of textiles in it . But the thing is today those same sarees are expensive which were available at a very low cost in older days. Why? Because government is not at all focused in improving the sale of these local industry products. Had it focused earlier, today textile would have have been a major contributor in our GDP. People of USA, Canada, France, Germany, etc. like these products very much. If our government would focus on selling these local handloom products in Foreign markets then we can even overtake Bangladesh in textile industries even before 2025. Local handloom products are available in every state of India. Its available in google even. At last I would like to say the statement by Dhirubhai Ambani- " Business does not require studies rather it requires the cleverness of the dealer to sell products to the customers in such a way that customer just cannot leave the shop without buying the product". Today this statement has relevance. America and Europe have only one focus and that is to cheat other countries in trade by implementing sanctions on them so that they can buy good products in cheap price. Government needs to focus on our textile industry. Ancient India was famous for its Spices and Silk. This must be kept in mind.
