extremely incorrect fuzzy facts and figures. Half-truths = lies. The lead however has been overtaken and in 2023 India's GDP/capita is some $300 ahead of Bangladesh- a lot more adjusted for PPP. So, when you say GDP is higher without mentioning or adjusting for the Purchasing power parity, you are lying.

Bengali Hindus would never forget the 1946 Calcutta killings during the Muslim rule there. In India, the Hindus by religion are secular. Congress ruled India since Independence till 2014, which is secular and bore no influence of RSS , whatsoever. BJP too is secular, and the so-called tag with RSS is in fact null & void. Let me again remind, the 1947 partition was based on religious sentiments, from the Muslim side. All in the Indian soil should have gone to Pakistan (east or west), when their demands of separate country was met by the British. So in that case, Muslim in India must learn to align with the majority, which never has the thought to disturb others. Whatever disturbance you hear is due to Muslims, who try to force their religious thoughts on others. Abolition of triple talaq has been brought legally by this BJP govt, which is a boon to our Muslim sisters.

The price of daily necessities in Bangladesh is really really high. Even though people are making more money than before, but it is not making any differences here. I have visited India 3 times and the prices in India are really reasonable and affordable. That is why I try to shop a lot whenever I visit India.

@@LionsHeart3.1.3 let me reply this, because my earlier reply was on the main narrative of making Bangladesh fully independent. Now to your view of Independence. History is always written which has been past, and it gets inclined towards one who controls the system, especially administration. In India too, that written and taught in the educational institutions are inclined and have favours, so truth is hidden. By and large, history if this sub-continent is more or less pretty known, so whatever written, off and on gets challenged now & then. So the history of Bangladesh is pretty known to we Indians, as we had been very much intermingled with Bangladesh historically. It was surprising for us, when East Bengal chose slavery again under Punjabi Muslims, who could push for independence with more effort. They didn't, and that gave a big clue to Punjabi Muslims in Pakistan, that ruling them and squizing them is as per their wishes. They then went to the extent of genocide with the thought of changing DNA of Bengalis, their thought process and language. It was here when India stepped in with military as it was the only option left. Bengalis on this side created a platform for a military action. Now after surrender of 93,000 Pakistani bastards, India could have very easily taken over the reigns of Bangladesh, but due to their principled stand. On the other hand, they have always helped Bangladesh in almost all fronts, especially economy. Bangladesh saves lot of wealth, as it does not have to spend in military as it is surrounded by a trusted friend India. It always gives a lot of fillip to Bangladeshi intellectuals who make policies of Bangladesh. Thus Bangladesh doing good in economic front must acknowledge this.
I agree Bangladesh region (region and not nation) fought two wars on Independence. One was against the British, and other against Punjabi Muslim ruled Pakistan. In both cases, the rulers were not secular, but racist. The later one was worse, due to their ignorance, vices and devoid of culture. India has always been a trusted and honest friend, which note and correct.

Bro, In Bengali society; teachers, poets and artists are highly respected. The first lawyer in the Indian subcontinent was a Bengali . The first person in the Indian subcontinent to clear the civil service examination was a Bengali. The first filmmaker of the Indian subcontinent was a Bengali. Scientist Jagadish Chandra Bose is the first person who laid the foundations of experimental science in the Indian subcontinent and he is a Bengali. brother i just mentioned a simple fact that a secular state mean that state will have nothing to do with any religion. if you have one religion as a state religion, how can others ever be truly equal. i didn't mean to hurt your or anyone's feelings, just mentioned a simple fact. the simple definition of islamic nations is that their state religion is islam.
A good thing about Bangladesh is women rights are highly respected. As a woman myself, I'm telling that . Yeah south asian countries do have a problem with sexism. But it's much less in Bangladesh if you compare it to India,Pakistan and other South Asian countries. Girls are better in almost every field. In education, in teaching sectors , garments, women have their own businesses. One of my teacher was a med student. He said in medical colleges it's like the whole class is filled with more female students. They make groups in project works , my sir was the only male in his group and the rest of 8/9 members were girls . Most of the groups had this type of ratio. Most of the teachers in med schools , in primary, secondary schools are females. Women have their own businesses and the thing is unlike India, Pakistan in out country normally when e girl is born , it's a very happy moment in the family. Everyone loves their children equally, in fact many times boys are less valued by parents and family members, which is so unreal to Indians and Pakistani ppl. I've seen many poor rickshaw pullers who work so hard to earn , to make their daughters educated. Religion is not a barrier to a girl's success here. There are tons of women who are very religious and they hold higher positions in society. Yeah there are some creepy ppl who tease women, there are places when women aren't safe alone. But mostly if a girl is ever teased publicly or seeks for help from strangers for something like that. There are high chances ppl will support her. Also if a woman is a victim of domestic violence in most cases they can raise their voice. Ppl here don't do victim blaming that much. The abuser is punished most of the times and if not then surely he is publicly harassed in every place he goes. Our country is not like westerns either. Women as much as they value their career , they take care of their families too. Not either a woke society, not a backward one . And I'm talking about how most of the ppl are like.

I visit Bd often . So i can tell There are lots of Mistakes in His statements.
1st . The system in which India counts literacy rate is same in Bangladesh. Its not Different. Bd also counts literacy based on if you can sign ur name / not. Its called " Sakkhorota" in Bengali . Sakkhor means "signing ur name"
2nd. India/ Bangladesh both has kind of same GDP per capita. Sometime India surpasses Bd & vice versa. But When u see GDP Per capita U have to also count Inflation rate. BD inflation is around 10% in this year from jan to June , India registered 5.5% inflation in from Jan May. So The Price of products are less in India than Bangladesh . u go to bd & indian market. u would see price differences everywhere. So even if Bd people are earning a small amount more than Indian on avarage they have to spend More money on products. How can u talk about GDP per capita without inflation rate?
3. The biggest problem in BD is their Over dependence on RMG Only. if 80% of ur Exports comes from one industry that's not good for the future.
I am not criticizing Bd people. They have done very good in terms of economic development since independence. But Saying BD surpassed India in development is very Naive statement .

Bangladesh is progressing because Sheikh Haseena's government has established stability, massive infrastructure developments, decent foreign policy(the country was in great terms with both the US and Russia. I'm seeing this trend among few Indian youtubers these days comparing India to Bangladesh like this. Its quite clear, India's few state has higher GDP than Bangladesh's. Yes, Bangladesh is way ahead of India in few indexes and vice versa. Overall it's not a fair comparison. Both countries has a very different circumstances and their problems are way different. At the end of the day, we can learn a lot of things from each other. Pakistan vs Bangladesh is much better comparison in my opinion.

I just google it & it's just estimation final result yet to release & for correction Bangladesh took the lead from 2020,2021 even last year in 2022 also their gdp per capita was higher than India. Bangladesh's gdp per capita still higher than India but because Bangladesh's currency value dropped that's why the estimation is low have patient for final result
