Re: video editing - You should check out all of their early-quarantine videos from their "At Home" EP. Since they all recorded their videos separately at home, their music videos inevitably have this "Zoom"-feel to them, and yet their video editor managed to come up with ways to make each video unique, matching the mood of each song.

I love the versatility they have in Kevin. He's the ultimate drum machine, and he's a singer/songwriter with perfect pitch. When they put him to work singing it's like a totally different group. It's like the end of the hockey period when they pull the goalie and put all 5 attacking the goal.
Appreciate the insights on the mics. Doing this separately during quarantine, each of them had to learn the technicalities of recording even fixing the lighting. I think it was indeed a challenge for them. Would Matt be having a specific/special mic to pick up the bass?

Love that you are enjoying PTX! I came here for Hamilton content and have just stayed. I have learned a ton about the more technical aspects of music (both equipment and terminology, music info) from watching. Thanks for adding your perspective to the mix. Another great song by them is "La La Latch". The official video is great and there is a live version from a NYE celebration, as well.

@@JacobRestituto Look for MrDuckbear11, he has all the performances from The Sing Off with intros, judges comments (we Pentaholics really like to see reactors react to the judges too) and outros (occasional closing comments by PTX immediately after leaving the stage) - Besides really loving the idea of seeing a wonderful analysis of their beginnings, I would also recommend reacting to another of their earlier original pieces called 'Run to You' written by Kevin and Avi. Like this video, it has no beat-boxing and almost a classical feel to it. Just clean and complex 5 part harmony. Also, they actually had to learn how to sing part of the song BACKWARDS for the video. You'll understand why when you see it. Thanks for the great reaction! Subscribed for more.
