My son, Aiden, is 9 years old and he has to do online schooling again this year. We have found so much joy from sitting down together during his lunch so we can eat while watching the new video you two put out for the day. I have seen the concept for the "elevator" used before. If you know your Disneyland history you might remember the ride Rocket to the Moon. It had a similar approach with a screen below riders on the floor simulating the launch of the rocket as riders sit above. It's pretty cool to see it reinvented with futuristic graphics.

The elevator part was really cool, I assume that technology will be used for the transport pods to the Galactic Starcruiser! Just watching it I felt like they were actually traveling super fast!
At the price the starcruiser is demanding, I’m expecting the pods to be full on tiny star tour rides, or the standing ride part of Rise of the Resistance.
The elevator technology was reused from Flight to the Moon, or Mission to Mars attractions that were at Disneyland & WDW previously!👍 Hello from Phoenix Arizona!🔥

@@OrdinaryAdventures The moon, other space stations, or space "docks" with departing ships could be on option, but I'm sure budget(Chapek) was a concern.
@@OrdinaryAdventures 'Probably not budgetary' in the Chapek era is inconsistent at the very least. I did the Star Trek Experience 20 years ago. This reeks of minimal effort. You're both absolutely hilarious and every single video brings me joy because of YOU both, you could be anywhere and I'll have such a fun time watching - proud to have my name at the end of your videos! 😁
Wow with the names of the food🥰, its seems like the names of the food tend to have a french twist to make it sound more appealing in the description, such as "harricots"- literally the french translation for beans🤷♀️brulè is burnt or lightly roasted (like the dessert creme brulè, Which translates to burnt cream but who wants a burnt cream for dessert and for dessert lol) 😁My point is, " Pro tip" from Canada eh (quebec) next time you don't know what a food is, it's most likely a French word that you're saying in English which is still cool cause we do it here too🤣. Looking forward to more
I am living vicariously thru u both, hanging on all ur ordinarily adventurous reviews of everything👏 love all ur disney stuff and all ur vacation stuff
That was actually really cool to see! I've never been to Florida but hope I get to go someday, until then I will live through Ordinary Adventures! Cheers guys.
I got chills when you guys enter the restaurant! WOW! Thanks for showing me this place that I will NEVER be able to visit, but at least I can experience it through you!
Did they try to come up with an explanation for why you cannot see the elevator structure when you're approaching the restaurant/building from the outside but then you can see it very clearly through the ground and ceiling portals while you're "traveling" inside the elevator itself?
That I don’t know. I do know I’ve seen Epcot maps that show the elevator in the map art but there’s nothing there in reality. I thought it would have been cool if they had done a forced perspective elevator from afar
Wow that music was pure Astral OK that space station ... so the elevator effect is like soarin the way they pull u into the arrival and departure modes... way cool.. did they have drinks that were non alcoholic .. had someone ask me to ask u .. thanks .. we enjoyed this adventure Kitra n Peter and Kevin
I loved this! I definitely want to go with my husband, even though the vegetarian options were scant, but I think I’d get a sitter for the kids! I’m not paying $30 each just for them to order Mac n cheese and not eat half of it, lol!
I think it's as much about the experience as the menu. How could you live with telling your kids that you ate at a space restaurant without them? Besides, I'm sure they could split a dish if you are worried about their small appetites.
@@DMinSFBay Spot on reply! 😉Ummm…how about depending on how old they are either a. they don’t need to know or b. The wait staff should require guests to say "atmospheric spirits" with each drink. lol. Thanks for taking one for the team and waiting so long in line so we could all see Space 220. Plus, you had the two things I was looking forward to seeing the most--the cauliflower and the lemon mousse.
It all looks so cool! Sad reservations went out so quickly though. I didn’t know about it so I didn’t see until it was too late 😩 oh well, I’m excited to try the food and wine festival! Glad you guys liked it though!
Sad but hardly surprising. When the Enchanted Castle opened, reservations were equally impossible to get, and that was 7 years ago when covid didn't restrict the number of people.
Enjoy F&W. Space 220 looks like a Chapek cash grab. The Star Trek Experience in Vegas 20 years ago had a similar concept just not dining. I wouldn't be disappointed at all. P.S. Don't forget to get the Sriracha Glazed Donut Chicken Sandwich.
Lol. Your pronunciation of the French terms was so funny to me. It took me a couple seconds to figure out what you were saying each time. Thanks for the speedy review!
I think the theming is amazing!! My kids would love this place! They are space obsessed and I’m doing a degree in planetary science and astronomy atm so right up my street! Looks a lot of fun! I don’t drink alcohol so would love to see some non alcoholic options from you guys :)
So, dare I ask… Exactly how long was the wait to get in today?! I imagine it was ridiculous because Kitra was saying it was six hours and considering you were eating dinner, and you rope dropped, she’s probably not that far off!
Great video guys, Im sure it took an all-nighter to edit too. I have mixed feelings about this, other than the food, the actual experience feels kinda meh, specially with the lack of “variety” of objects flying thru the windows; such a great idea having walle and eve dancing around for example, or maybe have the station go thru a meteor shower of some sort y’know, and what about the elevator? Does it have any kind of motion? It doesn’t uh, thats a shame. I get that people with full stomachs and a little tipsy *wink wink kitra* will hop on their way back down but I think adding a very light motion would’ve enhanced the experience by a lot.
I think it’s just supposed to be more of ambiance and it’s based in future world so it’s supposed to be based on reality or Atleast the future of our reality so I don’t think they want to go nuts (that said there’s supposedly a lightsaber battle so Idunno). But I think it’s supposed to not be entertainment but kinda like the aquarium tank in the coral reef restaurant. It’s not supposed to be a ride but a theme and atmosphere.
Followed over from Timtrackers channel. You guys look like soooo much fun to hang out with! Like button smashed, and subscribed. Off today and gonna binge all your adventures!

Looking forward to more
Ha thanks for the tip
OMG all that food looked sooooo GOOD🤤🤤🤤🤤🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Such a cool restaurant.....glad you guys got to enjoy it. Kitra love your reactions😂🤣😂🤣🙌🙌🙌🙌
Thanks so much ☺️
“I’m ready to look into the dark, dark void”
Same, girl. Same.
Haha 😆
I am living vicariously thru u both, hanging on all ur ordinarily adventurous reviews of everything👏 love all ur disney stuff and all ur vacation stuff
😁
That was actually really cool to see! I've never been to Florida but hope I get to go someday, until then I will live through Ordinary Adventures! Cheers guys.
Glad to show you it from afar
I got chills when you guys enter the restaurant! WOW! Thanks for showing me this place that I will NEVER be able to visit, but at least I can experience it through you!
Thanks for watching
Yeah they had a selection of mock tails. I think you can see them on the website. Kevin got the one with the pop rocks.
@@OrdinaryAdventures awesome .. and I wondered when he was shown with that drink if it was... thanks for the details I will check it out 😘♥️😁👍
I loved this! I definitely want to go with my husband, even though the vegetarian options were scant, but I think I’d get a sitter for the kids! I’m not paying $30 each just for them to order Mac n cheese and not eat half of it, lol!
I’m betting they will expand the veggie options
I think it's as much about the experience as the menu. How could you live with telling your kids that you ate at a space restaurant without them? Besides, I'm sure they could split a dish if you are worried about their small appetites.
@@paul16451 You should definitely bring your kids to this restaurant, then. 🙂
@@DMinSFBay Spot on reply! 😉Ummm…how about depending on how old they are either a. they don’t need to know or b. Mommy and day went to a restaurant and it looks like space - someday when you’re older, we’ll take you. Geez, I could live with myself and it sounds like you and your kids will be a-ok, too!
@@ckbarry Thank you! My youngest will be two in November, and, having lived her entire life during the pandemic, she has rarely been in public places, besides the park or the beach or on nature walks. I’m afraid she’s a bit feral still when out amongst civilized society! Lol!
Thumbs up for that true reaction to the drink! You know many of us will buy it just to see for ourselves!
Haha she actually liked it even despite the reaction. Just saying.
haricots vert Or a French style green beans that are typically more tender and plucked a lot sooner than your regular green bean
Ah okay! I didn’t even notice the difference ha
@@OrdinaryAdventures LOL it’s just a restaurant way to try to be fancy lol
Ha
One of your best vids! I just watched and watched and REALLY wanted to be there with you guys! SO much fun!
Thanks so much
Did you guys say how long you waited? So exciting!
We got there at 1045am, before Epcot opened and we were sat around 4pm
@@OrdinaryAdventures Damn
@@OrdinaryAdventures that's crazy
Did they walk everyone over or was it a mad dash?
Wow I have not tuned into to your videos in awhile and it's great to be back love the video!
Thanks Maddox!
Moon mist is a Mountain Dew like soda made from a Michigan “pop” company Faygo. They make fantastic sodas that are extremely wallet friendly.
Oh had no idea
I enjoyed your review! I remember meeting y'all at docking bay seven when I worked there. I had no clue you had your own show !! So neat! I def subscribed! Thanks for the inside info on this new restaurant
Thanks so much Sergio
The wait staff should require guests to say "atmospheric spirits" with each drink. lol. Thanks for taking one for the team and waiting so long in line so we could all see Space 220. Plus, you had the two things I was looking forward to seeing the most--the cauliflower and the lemon mousse.
😂 I love that idea
You guys were on DFB guide as they walked into the restaurant...thanks for the vlog! Terrific
😎
It all looks so cool! Sad reservations went out so quickly though. I didn’t know about it so I didn’t see until it was too late 😩 oh well, I’m excited to try the food and wine festival!
Glad you guys liked it though!
They will supposedly have the lounge open to walk up standby.
Haha sorry
@@OrdinaryAdventures I loved it. You sound like I do trying to pronounce Spanish terms. Lol.
Ha I’m bad at those too
I think the theming is amazing!! My kids would love this place! They are space obsessed and I’m doing a degree in planetary science and astronomy atm so right up my street! Looks a lot of fun! I don’t drink alcohol so would love to see some non alcoholic options from you guys :)
We did show one, but didn’t like it ha
I loved the board game reference, great video, the food looked so awesome!
Thank you for watching
@@OrdinaryAdventures Thanks for the awesome content, I love your channel.
So, dare I ask… Exactly how long was the wait to get in today?! I imagine it was ridiculous because Kitra was saying it was six hours and considering you were eating dinner, and you rope dropped, she’s probably not that far off!
We waited 5 hours mostly in the sun. It was not easy 😂
You guys are just the best.
Thank you
Great video guys, Im sure it took an all-nighter to edit too.
Thanks so much! We love the trackers and glad you found us
It's way past my budget and there are a lot of better restaurants in Epcot, but I would also like to experience this just for one time.
Like I say in our intro, you can always just go in there for drinks and appetizers
Hi both just a quick message to let you know I loved your review of Space 220 I have been watching other reviews and found you in DFB review and in the All Ears lol............brilliant video keep them coming xxx
Yeah we were sitting right next to them. You can kinda see them next to us in our video
Great video and reviews!! I love that I can live vicariously through your theme park vlogs, I haven't been to Disney in so long! You guys are the best!
Thanks so much Sarah
That was a great review. Thank you!
Thanks for watching
Thanks for the review! Love your channel!!!
Thank you
I had no idea you’d be back in Florida so soon! Feels like you were just there. I’m glad we got to see the restaurant
We flew in for a day and a half just to do this
@@OrdinaryAdventures wow!
