I always love vlog-style videos, especially ones that test phone cameras. In each photo that you took, out of all the phones that you tested, I think the white balance of S10+ was right on-point in each photo. Just off topic, the croissants in New York look very different to the ones here in Australia. Our croissants are more traditional, being long and curved, not folded-over like yours looked.
Hey again . Samsung S10 plus is very versatile to say the least. Not the best at anything but good enough in more than others . I hope they will release a night mode at some point just like one plus did nearly 6 month in

THE best in display quality and tech but yea they're not the best at many things. But they are quite good at many things.
@@leightonx7430 they got the best display and in my opinion they also have the best Android skin (that does not look almost identical to stock) and they also have the best design in my opinion (very subjective though).

@@shannonrolle8749 Why change ? My S3 is still great for all I need : UA-cam , WhatsApp , Instagram , Snapchat. I modified the OS and have Android 8 installed and it runs very smoothly

@@pmd_99pmd28 honestly, i havent yet used S9+, then i have no idea about these two great flagship phones to be compared. But from some reviews, the didnt recommend that strong for s9+ users to change their phone, but still upgrades are found and some features have been improved.

Very informative video. I think the Samsung had the 2nd best night shot. Apple had the best selfie. Over all, the S10 plus performed great considering all its features in in total.

Yeah how about video recording? How long it can record?
In the first group night shot of the bridge, you can see a star in the photo shot by S10 plus. None others catch that star.
It's not an star a mate 20 pro can just rekt s10 at sky shots since it can do star trails and pretty long exposure photos both in pro mode and it light paint mode. Also s10 just bumped the iso that's not mean a better photo. And it doesn't even have the highest iso once again P20 and mate 20 Pro can bump it to 102,400. Way above the rest.
Samsung's S10 Plus Bright Night is actually not the moon icon. I have the S10 Plus SD855, and if you move the phone to an area with the lowest light, you will see a moon icon with 3 stars in it. It will tell you to hold still. The whole process takes about 5 sec or so. It also have the pixel 3 awb look as night sight but nowhere near as detailed or bright as night sight.
Huawei is better Only for night mode. And that only for still photos. If the subject is moving then samsung is better with its variable apperture. What Huawei is doing is 100% software. It has a great result. though. if only Samsung would have such a software over its already greater hardware variable apperture ... it would make it No.1. Maybe they keep that for Note 10 ...

Do you recommend the ultra-wide camera (without OIS, 4k @30fps) or the regular wide camera (with OIS, 4k @60fps) for filming?
Selfie cam, you look best and most natural in s10. The others looks very yellow undertoned

I think the iPhone looks a lil' bland compared to the S10. I am an S10 owner because I looked at other cell phone camera platforms and I have to say, alot of cellphones cameras are good, but only at 1 or 2 things. Just from what I have viewed. S10 is excellent at almost everything.

S10 is overall the best package right now. After one month there shall be P30 pro no.1. And after that note 10, and after that mate 30 pro and so on . And so on ...

Here, One+ is average, no way flagship quality

the front facing camera still needs some work it's good but it does not have a lot of detail, it's too smooth, I hope they bring the Instagram camera mode from the s10 to older Galaxy devices, I need it on my Note 9.

Those shots in the car are making me not want my Galaxy S10+ anymore LUL that and the bill that Sprint keeps giving me xD.
The camera firmware update now gives it a dedicated night mode option.

I believe there is an option to disable starburst flares for the lights. It will make it more better at night. Check it on the settings

As you know I have the Note9, and thought it's not the best camera , it's adequate. Samsung does tick most of my boxes and I don't regret the decision to buy the Note9 when I absolutely had to get a device. Thanks for all the work you put into these comparisons David! 👍📷📱

I disagree with your conclusion, first of all state that it is in your opinion about the best camera, cuz everyone has different opinions right boy, and 2nd if the s10 is not the best than the others are not better than the s10. There is no clear winner camera, as it will come down to personal preference, however if u combine videos and photos with this s10 is definitely top 2, because they did a great job with videos this year.
It does have a night mode! I have the s10 plus.

I agree with you - it´s really not the best camera. I tested the S10 just indoor and that was enough to be too disappointed for further tests. No matter what I tried - my 1,5 years old Pixel 2 shot better photos. Maybe the S10 does a better job in bright daylight but I need a camera that works as good as possible in all conditions.
So unfortunately I´ll return my S10 and maybe get a Pixel 3 or stay with the Pixel 2.

As someone who preordered S10 plus, I have to be honest - I like Pixels and Iphones photos and videos more... And those are LAST years models...urgh...should I have waited for Note10...
Pixel software will be your friend, especially Pixel 4 software when it comes out..

That's because the mate 30, pixel 4, and iphone 11 aren't out yet. You'll see them all compared when they come out but for now they literally only have last years competitors to match it up against. Plus the s10 is only gonna keep getting more software updates so its dumb to critisize it so early into its life cycle. Its definitely 1st or 2nd place out of the 4 here
When the pixel or iPhone xs came out, did the people wait for the s10 to compare it to? That's just bias... you can only compare it to what is already there... and it overall outperformed the phones of the other companies... that's good enough
