one of my favorite thing about high-level bouldering videos is randomly catching other high-level climbers just spotting uncredited, e.g. i think that's alex puccio around 3:00?
Give the crew or people or person that made this more jobs, exquisite. Some filler/lifestyle stuff that I have never liked in sports films but the shots were done so beautifully it didnt matter. Great job five ten.
A lot of these boulder problems have their crux in the first 10-15 feet, then high slabs to top out. For someone who can climb the V9 crux, the V4 top out is just highballing. But imagine the bottom is removed and someone climbs the V4 at her limit... then it's a 5.12 free solo, imho.
LordFazza I think a lot of people define it by whether you're preparing for a fall, or the plan is just "dont fall because you'll die". I didnt see in this one, but when she did ambrosia she had a mountain of pads and spotters who stayed for the whole climb. Obviously there was still a "no fall zone", and she would have been seriously hurt if it went wrong, but she was prepared to hopefully minimize her injuries in a fall along with doing everything she could to prevent one.
Supa beautiful everything. I love California for ever. Great vid , can’t wait for a trip up north. Thank you very much, and thank you for the eye candy, boy was there a lot!
Nina, when you are changing your tire, to get that first movement out of the lug nut. Position the tire iron so that you are rotating it upward, because your lower pack is stronger than your lats (well maybe not your lats, cuz you are a crusher lol)
Great climber and an even better human. Her enthusiasm is contagious.
i usually don't like watching bouldering flicks, but that one kept me captivated.
So where is the hedgehog now? Has it flown yet? These are important questions.
I think Nina may be the only person to see a high ball problem in person and think, "it's actually not as bad as I thought"
We love this video! So glad our "backyard" did not disappoint!!
Definitely cool that Nina came back and ultimately completed all three Grandpa Peabody boulders. What a boss.
Crazy this was her first trip with what she’s accomplished there today. Truly a legend!!

+zoaxanthellae haha I saw that too. Made me do a double-take. Awesome they all hang out.
she has a version of the same trip on EpicTV. Not sure if you can see Nina in that one.
They went together. They're good friends.
Love your enthusiasm Nina! Keep pulling the house down!
I would like to see more of this Nina Williams...and her hedgehog.
This is some serious Highball !! I'm always impressed when i see climbers do stuff like that !
So Nina Williams is no longer a Tekken fighter?

Wow, so when does it stop being bouldering and start being free solo? Seems to me like its only called bouldering because its on a boulder?
+LordFazza exactly my thoughts. This does not qualify as bouldering anymore :D

My favorite part was the hedgehog
Am I seeing things or was that woman actually....throwing...that hedgehog?
nina kills the game. inspiration!!!
In my mind that's not a high ball that's more like a Free Solo, that thing looks higher than some trad routes we have.
she is adorable.
Does someone know the title of the first music track? I already heard it somewhere but can´t remember and Shazam doesn´t work...
