I bought a 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium and I just love it . The power the handling and the looks why would I buy a BMW 328I to use premium gas more money for the features and more expensive to maintain.. Thank you Ford
Manny Marogil Premium gas is recommended though not required. It increases both horsepower and mileage. Does’t offset increased cost. I pay a 50 cent premium for premium gas. All local driving at 19.2 mpg using top tier gas. Your choice.
Another update as I settle into this car. There are 5 tech bulletins on window bounce back. My dealer said they had never heard of the problem. Best riding car I have ever had. I am 72 years old, have had a ton of cars. Last was a 2013 Acura bought new. This Fusion beats them all. Definitely glad I got the Platinum. My son has a loaded edge. Didn’t care for it. It is the perfect height for entry exit. Acura was on the low side. More difficult to exit. I purchased the Ford Triplecare from the dealer. 7 years, zero deductible, covers wheels and tires from road hazards, dents and dings, windshield repair. Paid $498 total. Dealer initially quoted $ 498 for each one. Nuts. Cons. None. All local driving. Averaging 19.3 mpg. I just switched from premium to regular. No effect on performance or mpg. Top tier gas only.
Forgot to mention. Got a pebble sized ding in the door. Fixed under Ford Triplecare. No cost. No hassle. The dent guy comes in once a week. Also. Call Ford to verify coverage. I took the 7 year zero deductible Premium Ford warranty. Reluctantly matched internet price. I called Ford after 2 months to verify. Paperwork sent to Ford said it was a $ 100 deductible. Also, only had me listed for road hazards, not Triplecare. I faxed the contract to Ford. They contacted the dealer and it was corrected. Think of it. If you don’t check, and have a problem after the 3 years, many people won’t remember their deductible. The dealer pays Ford less for the plan than a zero deductible. Extra profit. Sleazy.
My Platinum is 5 months old, with 3000 miles. Great ride. One recurring annoying feature is the window bounce back issue. Dealer showed me how to get it working, but it comes back. Any fix? Afraid to leave it with a valet or go to car washes where employees drive your car. Window may open during the wash, safety reports of people opening the window at a tollbooth, and having the bounce back start. Picture that during a rainstorm when you concentrating on the road. Love the features, infotainment system. Great luxury car.

I do have a BMW, tired of the rough ride. Is the Fusion smooth and comfortable riding or just another wanna be sports car that, yet again rides rough?
Awesome video and explanations!! I bought mine recently, used of course...but I'm loving it!
I Love The Fusion.
