Glad you mentioned trigger slap. I actually purchased a Enhanced PCC Hammer from Centurion Arms that costs $35 that has a docked hammer, like you described. Probably could just take a mil-spec trigger and grind it down after seeing it now, but if you don't want to deal with that, this is a decent solution.
Really enjoying the blowback9 education! I was under the impression that unramped bolts were the primary culprit of trigger slap, breaking trigger and hammer pins, and egging out the holes? I'm using ALG ACT triggers and have never experienced trigger slap.
Hey I saw a review on ammo saying something about a shorter projectile or something on a kind of 9mm ammo and he said should be fine in hand guns but that PCC might have problems if you understand what that means can u make a video on kinds of ammo that are good/bad for ar9s????
Building my first AR9, thank you for all the information!
This series is extremely helpful. Very informative, great work.
Thank you!
Thanks for posting this great video series

Yes! Unramped bolts are more prone to causing trigger slap, and are more likely to break pins and egg holes.

Any experience with the Freedom Ordnance FX-9? It has a proprietary bolt and barrel.
Not yet, sorry!
